Re: Is strike zone off the way to go?
Ooo never thought of no vibration. But I go strike zone off, ball marker off, pitcher view. with the marker and the strike zone and everything... It's just too easy to throw strikes. You need some walks in there. In older games before you could turn these off (or before I thought to) I'd go an entire game with 64 pitches, 3 of them balls. It's the only way to go, IMO, but that's just that. An opinion. This is a preference thing. If you like to get through games quickly and will sacrifice realism, then go with it and get with the strike throwin'Comment

Re: Is strike zone off the way to go?
However, if you keep pounding the strike zone, you will be one of the people who posts later wondering whether the game has a "comeback" code ... since the CPU will eventually figure you out, and start pounding your pitches![Insert clever, personally-relevant, or cutting-edge remark, data, link, or picture]Comment

Re: Is strike zone off the way to go?
Exactly. You can't play this game just throwing in the zone, nipping the corners. This game actually requires you throw balls out of the K zone, on purpose, in situations and set the batters up.
I read a post where a gamer said that the CPU will NOT swing at balls out of the zone. Absolutely not so. This game requires some time to play it right.Comment

Re: Is strike zone off the way to go?
cause with 63 games played so far, i have a much easier time throwing strikes with the meter, i have far too little walks which for me is too unrealistic, not the case with classic.. besides, i hate to clutter up the screen with the meter.Comment

Re: Is strike zone off the way to go?
I'm guessing you mean pitching MARKER, not METER. To me, if you have pitching marker to either FADE or ON, it really defeats the purpose of having the strike zone off. You should still be able to imagine the strike zone even if it isn't there.Comment
