I would love to see the ticker placed back in as a constant feed. Go back to method of selecting which games you want to play and the games before or at the time slot will be simulated once you enter one of your selected games. In-game, a ticker should be ongoing (maybe update once or twice a quarter) that displays the score and then transitions to show an impact player's stats. For games that are scheduled for later on in the day, the ticker should just show the teams that are playing and the kickoff time (just like in real life)

For me if they could just add another announcing crew/cbs or espn channel, coaching carousel, and bring back some of the old-gen stuff (e.g. ticker, spring games, all star games, medical redshirts, etc.), my life would be completeNational Champions: 96', 06', 08'Comment

Exactly like this. I just want my NCAA back and this is shaping up to be as close as we have had it. Got to play it first though.I would love to see the ticker placed back in as a constant feed. Re: NCAA Football 11 Blog: ESPN Integration
Im with you on all of it ,But you like how the injury system is set up as of now? Man I cant make it through other season of no real injuries that really accure in real life . I mean just make it more realistic by real timing it and speak about or add Madden's system and real time it and up grade it.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Blog: ESPN Integration
So far what EA has released has me pretty pumped up, especially because I passed on last years title, but does anyone know if we'll get bowl patches back into the game. Extremely minor I know but it's just another thing that adds more realism to the game.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Blog: ESPN Integration
It would be great to have a live ticker updating you on out of town scores. Hope this gets in.
Also, I enjoyed in last gen when they showed conference standings before the game - highlighting the importance of the game you are about to play.
But so far so good...Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Blog: ESPN Integration
I think the last game to have that feature was NCAA 2001 on PS1(I think that was the last PS1 NCAA). I don't recall that being there in any of the PS2/Xbox versions.I would love to have a ticker at the bottom that updates with dynasty CPU scores. It used to be on the game a few years ago and before, but was taken away. It added a little more realism and there times when I would be interested in CPU scores and know I have to win the game I was playing to make it to a conference championship or national championship game.
I would love that, but I don't really see it happening. just the way dynasty mode scheduling/simming is done, not sure if it would be easy to do, plus with Online Dynasty, well that should be obvious why.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Blog: ESPN Integration
Sure hope so..it adds a bit of variety - shows that the game is more special.
Also, it would be good if games between smaller schools would be a ESPN Radio type broadcast.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Blog: ESPN Integration
I could be wrong. I still play '06 and '04 every now and then to continue some great dynasties I had with them, but I don't recall either having "live" updates of other game's scores during your game. I'll have to double check sometime.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Blog: ESPN Integration
It's there; game scheduled before and around the same time as user controlled games would be simmed before the user can start their game. The scores of those simmed games would be shown during the users game based on what quarter they were in and whenever the game was paused.Comment

I think your right. I'm getting my "removed" features confused. lolIt's there; game scheduled before and around the same time as user controlled games would be simmed before the user can start their game. the PS1 days had schedulable neutral site games(if I remember correctly), create a play, and some other things like that. I think the PS1 versions did that kind of stuff better though. don't have any PS1 versions anymore, so there is no way for me to know for sure.Comment
