Looks alright...some things look too herky jerky, but I'm digging the tackles.

And for the record...put me in the "Don't get all jazzed from the blogs because we haven't seen it in action yet" camp. It's the same thing EVERY year...it'll happen with Madden like clockwork, guaranteed.

I can tell from your very recent join date that you must not be aware that this is the same cycle of events we have every year.

Pre-hype hysteria

Dev diary - blogs etc

Community proclaims beST GamE eVah!!

Subpar videos released

Community proclaims they are alpha builds, not to panic

Same members get the game early and proclaim beST GamE eVah again...released game is nothing like the videos

Hype resumes full throttle

2000 post thread on "When and where did you get it " thread

Rest of forum gets the game and notices game is exact same as video / demo etc that was reported to be " alpha build " video.

The folks that get the game earlier finally admit that maybe in their excitement they exaggerated about the game being improved.

600 post thread on "Bugs and Glitches thread"

500 post thread on " What should be in patch 1 and 2 thread "

200 post thread started on " Wishlist for 2012"

" Im done with EA and their fooball games and not buying another one" threads pop up and get locked "

Repeat cycle and just change the year.

It never fails, every year this is the pattern. Its as sure as the sun rising every morning.

NCAA FOOTBALL 2011 WILL STILL BE A GREAT GAME. THIS IS JUST A BEGINNING STAGE OF THE GAME. THERE'S STILL 3 MONTHS LEFT UNTIL THE GAME IS RELEASED. IT LOOKS GREAT SO FAR TO BE AS EARLY AS IT IS. ONLY THING THEY REALLY NEED 2 DO IS GIVE EVERYONE THEIR RIGHT EQUIPMENT BECAUSE MARK INGRAM DOESN'T WEAR ANKLE SOCKS AND HE ALSO WEARS BLACK SPAT

Where did these vids come from, were these officially leaked by EA?

some of the footage were videos that were in the locomotion video. it's all from instant replay mode, which doesn't help EA either. the changes from when the vids were taken and the final product wont change much. I still would prefer to see actual game footage and not replay, though it wont make that much of a difference.

I didn't put as much hope into the locomotion as it seems most people here did though.

As a football fan, I'm beyond frustrated. For the first time ever this year, I could not decide whether to get 2k or NBA Live. To me that was a very good thing. EA just needs some competition to push them, too bad we won't get it. Instead we have to deal with the mess you see in that video.

I know what you mean, i had the same problem, I ended up buying both Live and 2k, which was a good thing. As for EA football its like they just can't get it right. Idk how a PS2 football game is still years ahead of a 2010 next gen game, but it is. They need to hire some ppl from 2k5 to help them out.

I doubt Madden will be any better, I just want a real game a football, just the basics is all i ask for.

Ive been saying this for years..LOL..But you are spot on..and beleive me EA knows this they bank on it every year..
