I have not bought the last 2 (someone bought me 09, so I was able to 'experience' that)... but I refused to buy 10. I was able to play 10 however... and man...this looks so much like the same crap.

PS. I don't know wtf some you are seeing, to make you think it's any different...

With it containing the Clemson-SC vid from the first screenshot, I wonder how old this video is. I thought the game looked better in person than this video shows.

I thought it was looking pretty good until the 0:37 mark:

0:37 to 0:44: Ugly. The Ohio St. guy doesn't plant into his cut AT ALL, which almost lead me to believe that DBs running routes stride-for-stride with the WR will be back (otherwise, there's nothing to counteract the ultra-quick cuts).

Also, the guy begins cutting up the field way too quickly, his turn radius is far too small. Finally, the CB takes a terrible pursuit angle (would maybe be realistic if he was a freshman walk-on lol), making him easy to burn on the spin.

0:45 to 0:49: #80's gait looks very awkward, and he doesn't track the ball at all. There is way too much twitchy NCAA 10 running from the looks of it. I do really like how buddy breaks hard out of his cut (looks like a flag route).

0:50 to 0: 59 : Ice skating. #11's spin looks unnatural, mainly because his feet are slipping with no friction (thus he should have no momentum). This would probably look better if done in full speed.

1:00 to 1:11: Terrible. What this basically illustrates is the Madden flats bug pre-patch. Receiver accelerates unrealistically and the defenders take awful angles.

I definitely thought this would be the year EA would recapture the smoothness from the PS2/Xbox era. I didn't think that was too much to ask. It's become apparent that they can't even do that. The locomotion video really had me thinking that maybe, just MAYBE they had done it.

It's a shame that, that's all most us expect or really want from the movement, and they can't even do that. Like I said I hope I'm really wrong, but they way things have played out in the past, I don't think so. I at least hope it "feels" better than it looks.

No offense (and im sure this has been said already) but this is the worst first impression gameplay video to possibly show. Don't the devs know how the game played last year? So far they have shown soo many improvements it started to look like they knew what was wrong with their game and what to fix/implement to make it better. Now all that goes down the drain because they showed a gameplay video of the exact same gameplay as last year. What a waste..

The locomotion obviously shows that it only comes into effect when you are controlling the player, not when the AI is running w/o the ball. The WRs were running routes just like last year, no sense of momentum or physics at all. The WRs can cut like that all they want, just make it look like they actually planted and cut, not just suddenly changed directions.

The animations are all the same, I didn't see any different animation except the attempted one handed catch...which was already in Madden. The players still have to connect with the defender to trigger a juke or spin animation, instead of actually doing it. The dline still has that speed move and just runs right around the oline with ease, i dont understand this...

If you are going to implement new locomotion, IMPLEMENT IT. Add it into the animations, and if you have to redo the animations to be able to do that..DO IT. I dont care how much time it takes, you have plenty of room, equipment, people and athletes to make a whole bunch of different animations using the locomotion system.

I'm skeptical. There doesn't seem to be much, if any locomotion in this video. I'll wait till the real gameplay vids drop.

It's like a girlfriend thats cheated on you, you tell her your done and then for some reason you take her back, in this games case, multiple times. This time she has promised for sure changes (Locomotion, Momentum). Yet, in the end, you come home and there she is with someone who isn't you. It may not be what it looks like, but it sure as hell hurts. Im hurt by the fact that I love College Football and this is all I can get. I really hope that the Dev Team has some changes in hand or an explanation. I want my College Football back, because unlike women, there aren't other fish in the sea.

I am most dissapointed in the rout running by the Ohio State receiver. I swear the guys from community day said that the routs look better and the ratings will actually matter this year. I hope that's true and his rout running is in the upper 90's.

Complete and utter crap. I hate to put it so bluntly but that is what I got from the video. Animations still look awful, twitchy and unrealistic. O-line vs d-line interaction still looks mediocre at best if your being kind with still no real pocket forming.

Proper physics and momentum still look like they don't exist and that is by far the thing that disappointed about the video the most due to all the hype about locomotion.

This video shows exactly why it was ludicrous for people to be saying the game was going be sports game of the year without even seeing any game play videos first. That didn't even remotely resemble that kind of quality.

I may love college football, but their is no way I am buying the game this year if it is drastically improved. Can't say this video gave me any confidence that will happen.
