Can someone tell out me who has the best base stealing team.... I like to play small ball with Tampa Bay bit, after crawford there is limted speed..

Mariners are pretty good, both Ichiro and Figgins. Reds have Stubbs, Phillips and Dickerson with lots of speed.

Don't forget the A's. Davis is perhaps the fastest guy out there. Crisp is not slow at all and Pennington is pretty fast too. Ellis and Sweeney have middle of the road speed. And they even have speed at the catcher position in Suzuki (although I think you have to edit him a bit because the stock rosters have him a bit low). If you like playing small ball, Oakland is a good choice, especially since they have zero power hitters right now.

Yeah either A's, Mariners, or Reds.

Im using the Reds as I like to play small ball as well. Even thou they can hit for power to.

White Sox have three consistent base stealers spread out in the lineup.

Pierre to lead off
Rios mid lineup
Ramirez at the bottom

Limited speed? Really? They aren't called the 'Running Rays' for nothing. All of the following can swipe bags fairly easily:

Padres have Cabrera, Gwynn, Venable, Scott Hairston and Jerry Hairston and in AAA have Luis Durango and Aaron Cunnigham. Padres led all spring training with 50 stolen bases as a team. Chase Headley can steal bases too occasionally, had 3 last night alone vs SF.

Everyone can steal 8 bases a game off Wakefield and Victor Martinez if they try that many times.

While we're on the topic, does anybody know of an in-depth stealing FAQ/Guide thing? I keep getting picked off and I suspect it's because I have the timing of my leadoff all wrong. Any help is much appreciated.
