Funny that u mentioned that because I had said the same thing to my boy when I called him about this new level of controls. I was the "first one" on analog controls when they were introduced on the PS1. Most people I knew couldn't deal but eventually, they came around.

C'mon, son! Lol. I think I have a very valid opinion of people who have tendencies to complain and the person who said this is a "crappy gimmick" is definitely hating because their is no reason to call it a gimmick. Now, Fight for the Fumble IS a gimmick. Lol. That's why it stays off in my settings and I just let the CPU do it's thang.

I agree with Trey, this is not a gimmick it is something that changes the way everyone will play the game. I thought with M10 there were a lot of different jukes but this year should be pretty interesting. Agreeing it's not a gimmick.

I agree.. however the guy confirmed on the last question they won't be putting it in the game this year.. guess maybe next year?

Nice!! This can open up a wide variety of moves that can be pulled off.

This is awesome! This is excactly what Madden needs to add some life into the franchise. We've been using the same controls since 05 so this should make to game feel fresh while adding more control to the user. Is it me or did EA maybe get this idea after seeing how Backbreaker's controls will be?

Looks good! I hope that a perfect lean trumps the hitstick when ratings allow for it. In M10, you just can't truck a good hitstick and it bugs me. Sometimes your massive HB/FB should be able to trump a CB's hitstick if you both time it just right. Looks like that may happen this year and I'm looking forward to it. It'd limit some of that user D excessively taking over the game (I do it myself).

Totally agreed. That said, I'm in hog heaven. I'm just glad they have caught up with the other EA games controls. Fifa, NHL and Fight Night have been doing this to great acclaim for far too long for the Madden/NCAA series to not take the plunge. But it would have been so cool to see it on both sides of the line. Maybe next year! Now I'm just hoping to see the OL/DL and WR/CB interaction and I'll be really stoked. Still wondering about that NCAA vid, though....

Hopefully there will be some variety in the animations that occur when the ballcarrier leans too much to the left/right/forward. Looks great though, fingers crossed it's applied correctly and enhances gameplay .

                            Awesome.

Really can't wait to play this game just to see how all of this new stuff feels and plays on the field. Hopefully everything turns out good.

It always amused me when I heard Madden guys talk about how slick they were on the sticks. I'm pretty good at Fifa now, but there are guys who have stick skills I can't dream of. This will be the year that guys get to find out what "stick skills" really are!
