Looks exactly like NBA Live 10's locomotion

I just think the Fifa locomotion is working in these games

It makes players slider, makes em look robotic since they dont move all the right body parts...

The spin move is stiff because of it, and so is the move where a guy runs, and mid run he switches from slow to fast again for no reason

I already know what you guys should expect... there are alot of times you're going to hate it watch, especially if its not tweaked right'

Thats what I thought at first when I heard about the locomotion. That its going to be similar to this past year's basketball games. It was good at times, but there were terrible times. I remember vividly trying to get to a loose ball, but the game not allowing my player to move fast at all and he walked towards the loose ball even though I held down the trigger to sprint. Then once I had the ball, I never could get a fast break to work successfully because my player still would not move fast. I remember getting chased down by Shaq on a fast break because my guy was limited to a light jog with the ball. It happened more time than not. This was in both NCAA Basketball 10 and NBA Live 10.

Some of that was bad ratings canes...but its just not fit for anything other than fifa

I can see it clearly, the stiff running, it just looks back, the sliding over a couple of inches before you move...but I will say this, it will always look worse in slo mo because you see all of the flaws.

I can tell just by knowing that momentum and stuff is in the game for the players but I have ZERO confidence that it is done right

It looked like the same product I have been playing for a very long time now. I will hold judgement until I actually play it myself. But for me to change my outlook there will have to be some serious changes that take place. The footplanting and route running is horrendous....

pretty interesting, i hope THATs the type of running stuff we see in NCAA, none of this skating through animations crap.

Wow, this looks exactly like 09 to me. I skipped on last years game for the first time in years and nothing in this video makes me want to dole out $60 for 11. Why can't they ever get the amimations right? I don't understand what the locomotion is going to do for the gameplay when the animations are five years old.

SIGH.... 8( another year...another disappointment. FOR THE LOVE OF G.O.D when will EA ever fix the damn running animations!!!! It's still the same horrible animation and unrealistic running it's been for 3 years. Hey EA look at some other sports games (Fifa, MLB the Show, etc.) and see how fluid running is supposed to look like.

All the running seems like they are floating or gliding above the surface and running on a treadmill going underneath them.

Well, at least I save $50-60 bucks. Man, it just looks like the exact same crap.

Agent, you described that so spot on man. So true. The craziness is that the running in FIFA looks great but in EA's football games it looks...well just as you described.

I am actually probably in a minority. I don't think Fifa has that great of running animations. I think it suffers what all EA games suffer from with twitch animations, its are just tuned better and aren't as bad. I also think the zoomed out camera in Fifa makes the animations look smoother as you aren't as close and personal with them like in NCAA/ Madden.

I just don't get why they use the SAME animation? People have been complaining about the "robot run" for 3 years. MLB the SHOW is AMAZING with how it depicts body movements... EA needs to hire those designers.

Man, another damn year I have to wait on a college football game.
