A question for frustrated Madden fans........

Why do we continue to purchase Madden every year If it has basically the same problems every year? If many of us fans would just refuse to put up 60 bones every year for a game, producers of Madden wouldn't have a choice but to put out a quality game.

Same with me.I love the NFL .It is always an automatic buy for me.But I dont know about this year.If they havent improved Franchise mode to where Im as satisfied as I was on PS2 I will NOT buy Madden 11.Im tired of hearing maybe next year. I'll just update my own rosters.

Well from 06-08 madden I really didn't buy it because it wasn't very good. But 09 was better and I like it. Madden 10 was alot better for me and I loved it. I'm looking forward to what is instored for madden 11. No matter how much some people just think it is just another roster update. Everyone has their opinion and all. But I felt that madden 10 was the best yet for the next gen console. Just my thoughts.

It's the only thing out there to get that NFL fix.

That being said, I haven't bought Madden since 2005 for PS2. I won't buy it this year if franchise isn't immersive and entertaining.

It definitely was, but it still wasn't as good as Madden 2005 for freakin' PS2.

I don't buy it anymore. I have another problem, it's called the SUnday Ticket from direct TV. A crappy Madden game I can live without, watching the Giants on Sunday (along with the other games) I cannot

I have Tecmo throwback and APF 2k8 to play. Both are great.

I have not purchased a Madden game in 5 yrs, so I supported your comments 5 yrs ago.

I wont diss anyone for purchasing it. Hey if they enjoy it by all means get that joy, dont let anyone steal you joy.

We are all not the same. I do not enjoy the game at all, so I will not buy till I get a game I can enjoy.

only nfl replicated game out there since they have the license, and I love the NFL--plus, its JUST A VIDEO GAME.

I Play for enjoyment, if I wanted the REAL stuff, I would call up my buddies. Sure I want Madden to implement things that were in the 'last-gen' games, and it is frustrating how it seems like they started from square one on Next-Gen games...

But at the end of the day, its just a game.

Your idea sounds good on paper. I don't plan on buying this year at the moment cause I don't like nex-gen's game. Sales aren't everything tho. Madden has DLC, and recieves money from pop-up ads and other sources. Even the guys buying madden used are still giving money to EA if they are playing with the system hooked to the internet. EA has lost money for 12 staight quarters if I'm not mistaken. I'd still bet that Madden has been profitable for them that entire time.

If you don't like Madden but want football or the NFL, I would suggest finding an alternative game at least until 2012.

I for one am just realistic that no game will have EVEYTHING just right. Nor will it have everything I wish for. But Madden isn't so bad 'til I've decided not to buy it.

I still enjoy the new edition each year.
