Why do people want team specific entrances so bad? I don't get it... after a few times won't everyone click through it anyways?

I don't get it either. With as much as I like watching the wolverines touching the Go Blue banner as they run onto the field, there's no way that I'd watch it more than once in a video game. And as long as I don't have to watch it (like the band on the field in '10) then I couldn't care less about it being in the game. If, for some inexpicable reason I'm not able to skip past it, then I'd be really upset that they included it.

I always loved seeing my new players charge out of the tunnell every year and I rarely skipped through it player warmups on the other hand...

I agree with you to a degree with the generic ones, but the team specific ones like ND and Miami are just so cool I never skip those

While entrances are nice, I'd rather have them show players warming up while the commentators discuss the game.

This is the same mentality EA has though, that's why the presentation has been so bad. They think no one will ever watch anything. They should just give people the option to skip things.

see for me gameday is the automatic skip. with team entrances I'll watch my own (which will be generic I'm sure because I roll with TB teams) and I'll watch any team specific ones even though not everybody gets one it's still alot and the few really cool ones make it worth it imo

Well either one would be fine for me. Anything is better than generic bands spelling out EA SPORTS. Im just a gameday man.

Who knows, maybe they will have the espn intro then go right to the entrances then have the shots of the teams warming up then to the coin toss. I can only hope!

wasn't that pretty much what last-gen was?

well, if the survey they sent out was any indication, it said over 30 authentic entrances(assuming the rest are generic).

Ok, Miami vs. Florida State...

Now, have the sweet ESPN intro to the game and then spotlight Christian Ponder and Jacory Harris and show them warming up with their season stats. Then on the defensive side show Nigel Bradham and Sean Spence and have their stats and talk them up.

We are not reinvinting the wheel here. Just simpleton stuff. We don't need to have 7 team enterances and then when you play NC State it's nothing...

Just show/highlight the key players of the game with the ESPN logo/music stuff and have Herbstreet and Nessler talk it up- just like they do in real life...
