The OL/DL interaction was the biggest disappointment for me. I know some people go nuts because the ball is so big. At least EA comes out and says we can't change it because then we'd have to redo the animations. I don't understand what the reason behind not fixing the OL/DL interaction is. Soo many people show evidence of this part of the game being subpar at best and yet they allow a trailer to air nationwide that shows the same thing. Does EA not understand a football game is won or lost in the trenches? How can improving blocking logic and DLine play not be a focal point in any way?

I hope they make me look stupid and discuss and show that this part of the game is actually improved in the coming weeks but I'm definitely not holding my breath.

Looking good. That high step into a truck was sick! Ole boy put that defender on his back! I'm really feeling those jukes and spins also. August cant come soon enough. I wonder what new face masks they're going to add this year.

Madden 10 with new running moves!!
That's it guys... sorry to say. Sideline catches were in Madden 10. Jukes look better but are far from new. OBVIOUSLY backs are still unstoppable catching out of the backfield!!! This is a sad day for me. I feel like I just found out that Santa isn't real. Like Ralphie, when he decoded the Ovaltine commercial.

How much is a new playcalling screen really going to affect your enjoyment of Madden 10. O-line blocking is unchanged. The LG almost went over to help the RG like last year. Watch Shockey cut off, over power, and totally reroute one of the NFL's better DE's. This stuff is all in this 1 short promo. Be your own judge. I'm no sucker or I should say not 1 anymore. I will take my cash on a new venture... to a new game.

People can say the proper fundamentals aren't present because they have NEVER been implemented correctly,you think this year will be any different?

Do you think that suction blocking will be completely eliminated?
Do you think that double team blocking will be implemented correctly? so that in the 34 defense a lb will actually be able to shoot the "a" gap?

Hell,penalties don't even work correctly,and you seem to think that all of a sudden the fundamentals will "magically" appear.

Careful though...according to some on here,we're not supposed to be able to come to this kind of conclusion based on the "short" trailer.

Thats how Ifeel bro, Because I feel like Its a big and fun year for Madden. I also think they showed the much needed attention to fran-mode this year because they know its what we all really want in this game. Yeah Ian keep knocking us all out with holding back till the right time.

Not even close, maybe graphically, and in which case whop the hell cares about graphics?

No if it looked like a PS2 game it would be smooth as butter and I would be excited as heck because it might mean that game play was higher on the list than lighting effects, hand towels, facemask details and player faces that look like the real guy - to all of which I say who friggin cares - oh and you can add cheerleaders, populated sidelines, half time shows, pre game shows, post game shows, and a whole bunch more non sense like anything having to do with SuperStupid mode to that list!

Enough with the shiny crap already - never mind the graphics - fix the gameplay, make the ratings more important than the difficulty settings, and for the sake of something smooth out the animations because the herky jerky crap completely ruins any illusion that an actual football game is being played!!!!!!!

Yea, I feel like I'm on a whole different plane of existence than some of these nuts in here, lol. That **** looked good, flat out. I'm ready to try out the new analog stick controls, thats what really has me curious.

I suppose most of these cats will leave now that its official they aint buying.

I hope all that are optimistic dont let these dudes sour your excitement. 11 is on the way, which means good times are on the way, lol.

I cant lie though, I'm kinda pissed at Madden 10 right now because I dont think you can load your profile into a new franchise. Which means I have to redo EVERY coach scheme slider for EVERY team AGAIN before I start this new franchise. Or can you? I know, off topic, but can I do that?

I've already explained my stance,again...I'm not going down this road again,been down it since 06 on this current gen of consoles,and oddly enough have seen the same exact excuses....coincidence??

Seen the exact same issues that have plagued this series since last gen
and am done with it.
So with that being said,enjoy the game this year,hopefully it will be the game you wanted. (and no that wasn't sarcasm)
