Re: NCAA Football 11 Hands-On Preview
I'm not an online player, but most people i've heard talk about it seem to be pretty happy. What in your opinion needs to be overhauled?Comment

Sounds very promising. Definitely should feel like a different game after the last few have all felt pretty much the same. I hope they kept the player lock POV for defense that they had last year.
I don't see any reason to think that they've included every authentic stadium. There are still some generic ones, and by now you'd think they would get them all in.Comment

I really hope so. They have to have improved that feature in some way.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Hands-On Preview
Momentum works, no more robo qb, no more suction blocking, and running animations are better. Is is possible that all these things are fixed? The way this review made me feel is that this will be the best football game on next gen. Throw in ESPN presentation and damn. It's hard not to be skeptical, this review is going to generate so much hype. Please if anything is actually fixed let it be OLine DLine interaction.KB24Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Hands-On Preview
This!
Everyone falls for it every year.
April: OS says this years game is really great.
June: OS says the NCAA team really stepped it up this year.
July: OS gives it a good review. It comes out everyone hates it.
End of July: After everyone says it sucks, OS does a 180 on the forums and wonders what happened, that this is not the game they played.
Next April: OS says, sure LAST YEARS sucked butman this years game is really great.
Repeat.Comment

Co-sign. It doesn't take much to get over on the OS sheep year after year. There will have to be something drastically different in either NCAA or Madden for me to even think about buying this year. This!

I actually liked Madden this year. Which is why I'm hopeful for this year. But reading OS once again saying how much the game improved is useless.
Hearing they slowed down the gameplay is encouraging.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Hands-On Preview
To be fair, those getting their hands on the game are not playing the final build so they in turn can only cast an eye over whats in front of them and as to what the future promises by EA developers lurking at the time. I don't think a website putting it's name out there each and every time they get a hands on preview are going to be hyping up a game just for the heck of it. That's not good business. That detracts from their integrity in an industy where integrity is of the upmost importance (especially when giving honest feedback to would-be consumers) in my opinon. This!

Should we expect EA developers (in this example) to be suggesting to those fortunate to be previewing the game "You know what, you're going to be a little disappointed. We missed the mark this year". No. It's not happening.
I read somewhere on this website/forum whereby one said, "football gamers are the hardest to please" - something along those lines. The poster ain't far off the mark in my opinion. Cut those attempting to do their job some slack and cast judgment (if you have to) when the final build is released. A review of the game as opposed to the preview, is where you should be judging a site like this.
Just food for thought.Last edited by T3B0W; 04-24-2010, 06:20 PM.My teams: Leeds United, Central Coast Mariners, Denver Broncos, Florida Gators, Florida Marlins, Miami Heat, Brisbane Broncos.

Maybe my memory's failing me, but last year OS wasn't nearly as excited. Every one was complaining about how gameplay was the same and of course the addition Season Showdown. This!

Oh man... I'm dying to play this. So much that he's said is making me so impatient. Sounds like there's a big feature concerning jerseys and equipment and another concerning presentation. Can't wait. You can say I'm officially hyped.UNC Tar Heels
