Umm... How about Madden 98 Positional Tendencies?

(Update) Well apparently this has been behind the scenes for a while now and has not been enhanced past being a simple description of a player's skills from their ratings make-up. However it goes to show how this is an area that should be addressed going forward and could really benefit the game so it

I guess the article would be fine, if the headline read "Madden 98 Positional Tendencies"

He wrote the article prior to Ian responding to him on Twitter that tendencies have been in the game for a while and it is not new. Pasta then wrote the update explaining that to be the case.

It is a little confusing if your reading it for the first time...

Still strange that it's been there more than 10 years and he never noticed before... nor did a lot of people responding.

I didn't know this was specifically in the game because it's not stated anywhere. There's no pocket or running rating in my m10.

I have however noticed for a whille that different QBs are more likely to scramble than others.

I got excited initially because I thought this was the tip of the iceburg with various player tendencies at all positions.

LMAO Wow and for some reason I thought alot of other people would edit ratings to their liking to start a Franchise like me.Anyone who ever edited a rating Im sure saw the tendency at the top.

This is just proof how people who have no clue about the Madden title is ruining the game for us HARDCORE guys. They buy the game to play for a couple months ,figure out glitches and cheats so they can brag about their ONLINE record while at the same time EA is looking at how many people are online playing to move all priority towards ONLINE.And these kids didnt even know that Positional Tendencies have been in the game forever.WHile us Hardcore guys look at every detail of each Madden game to be left in the dark behind The Onliners.hmmm I think I may have made up a new phrase Onliners

the one thing i wish they would have put some thought into for qb ovr is the strength of the qb if he has lower rated strength then he wouldn't be able to get the ball to some places a stronger armed qb could

first off these have been in the game for a long time. Now they may effect the player slightly but it really seems more like an overall summary of a player's skills versus making him choose different things. Basically if you crank up a QBs speed he will become a scrambler and if you turn it down he will be a pocket passer. I think the word tendency is being miss used here

strength in madden is more of a leverage/pushing power. This rating doesn't really have much of an affect on QBs in game. It is more intended as the athletic attribute linked to OL/DL interaction
