there have been videos where we can see actual gameplay and not replay highlights.

Re: NCAA Football 11 Hands-On Preview

Things are looking up for NCAA 11 but I'm hoping for good halftime analysis and I'm praying that the custom sounds are expanded a bit. I hope that you can have several sounds for one events and the songs will be played randomly. Hearing the same song over and over again at kickoff is a killjoy. Moreover I hope there's a noticeable difference in intensity when playing a rival vs let's say playing a conference doormat. I do believe Alabama vs. Tennessee should have a different intensity than let's say Tennessee vs. Mississippi State or Vandy. Can someone get started naming the players now???

NCAA 11 sounds awesome so far, I think this is gonna be its break out year like Madden 10 was for that series.

Is there any way that we convince them to junk gameplan features before July 13th? for me..that is the single most annoying thing about '10. I like what I am hearing though..especially the part about how us DL users will finally actually be able to make plays.

Anyway, Im looking froward to see som actual gameplay video footage, so we can get an idea as to how all of this stuff flows

This sounds great, but I don't want to get my hopes up to high. I need that demo asap.

Excellent preview, great info and details.

My only concern at this point is that there's no mention (yet) of the two biggest features I wanted outside of gameplay improvements: online co-op play and custom playbooks. And I'm afraid formation subs and the new "offensive styles" might mean custom playbooks are out of the question this year ...

But everything else sounds really promising.

Me too. Hearing the same stuff over and over kinda kills stadium sounds. Would be nice to create a random playlist for each event.

One thing we know is Madden has turbo off by default this year. They still have turbo as an option - my mistake. Sorry.

Also, Madden is getting a new kick meter but NCAA stays with the old one. I will admit that it was a lot harder to kick a FG in NCAA 10 than previous versions. I still like the old 3 button system best.

Edit: I was wrong. Madden still has turbo/sprint as an option. It's just off by default. Sorry.

NCAA 11 has similar option, Auto-Turbo. it's off by default though.

My opinion keeps on changing based on all these posts. I don't know if i should be optimistic with this post or not. We probably shouldn't read to much into this article, because it might just be another big letdown. Hopefully they fixed the b.s. line play where you can spread out your line and move your DE to the outside and the OT has no chance of blocking him. Then to top it off they're still able to stop the run(Locomotion should solve this).

Either way, being able to turn it off is SWEET!!!
