World Series mode?

Do you think MLB 11 should have a World Series mode, like the NHL series has Battle for the Cup mode, where you play the World Series with the atmosphere and everything that comes with the World Series, and you go straight into it, and you can also choose whether to play for the NL and AL pennants as well, instead of having to go through a whole season to play the World Series?

Funny you should mention this....because I was just thinking of this....
After finishing some Classic Rosters.....I'll be bringing back my playoff franchises like I did for '08.
Even better with '10...I won't have to do multiple saves with the different teams(like with '86 I had to do the Mets...another with the 'Stros...and the Sox and Angels) because of 30 team control(you can simply take control of the team you want from the save)
Now...this doesn't have anything to do with current sets of course...but it should work out well.

I would like a World Series Mode!

In the 5 top wishlist in the feedback thread for next year I posted that I would like the ability to set up every situation possible.

For instance if you just want to play the last inning of the awesome last game of the Twins in The Metrodome last year you could set it up

Why just the World Series? A full fledged playoff mode that lets you start at any point in the playoffs, with whatever teams you want to put in, would be better than just a World Series mode.

This game really needs a good "in between" mode, with exhibition games being not enough, and a season being too much.

And while it's nice to be able to play a shortened season, having a playoff mode that you could customize would be a lot better.

Come to think of it... There may be a work around for a playoff mode...

Haven't tried this, but I'm guessing it'd work...

1. Control all the teams in a short season.
2. Choose the teams you want to not make the post season, and call up all the worst minor leaguers and put them on the MLB roster.
3. Sim season to end, and hope one of those teams don't go on a miraculous run.

It ain't perfect, but it may be worth a try.
