      More:

*Too many extra points get blocked.

*It seems very hard to hit a receiver in stride. I've only done it once, despite averaging close to 600 yards passing per game.

Man, how about pointing out some of the positives. It's a $10 remake of a classic and for that I can appreciate what this game brings to the table. Stop being such a downer and enjoy it for what it is, a very fun, easy to play, and competitive online game. I'm glad to see Tecmo is back in the game!

            Yep...

As far as hitting a receiver in stride, I agree. I go to throw it and they run back to the ball. I did it once last night to Ricky Watters.

I'm not sure if there's a trick to hit therm in stride or what.

Stay away from the curl routes. Try the all out hail marry play, works for me.

I have a much better idea; allow people to post what they want for the game they paid their own money for, and be respectful of that person's choice to do so. That's what I do, and I think it'd best if you tried it as well.

                Thanks.

Yeah, that's not really the problem though. I'm able to block a lot of them, and I was never able to do it much with past TB games. The CPU blocks a lot more often, too.

I can respect that but what I have a problem with is when someone strictly points out the negatives. It tends to look like game bashing after awhile. Either way I'm enjoying the heck out of this game!

I have posted a few positives, but yes they are buried under far more negatives. However, make no mistake about it, I do like this game very much and I would recommend any Tecmo fan to buy it.

Cool! At the end of the day what matters the most is how much you enjoy the game and for that I'm glad we both agree on. I guarantee if enough people buy this game all the things you pointed out will be taken care of in the next iteration of the game. Play on!

I'm struggling to hit WR in stride too. I've seen it happen a few times. Maybe we need to "set our feet" and not move the QB around while throwing. That may be a factor in the SNES version. I know I'm running all over the place before I throw it.

Definitive release dates are the one thing I miss about having a 360. Hopefully we should know if it's this week by about 9 or 10 PM EST tonight

How does the Season mode work in this game? Just curious...
Whatever you do, don't give constructive criticism or say anything negative about Madden video games! It seems to be the equivalent of a felony...

Yeah, setting your feet seems big in this game, even bigger than in a sim-focused game I won't mention... if you don't get set, it's going to sail. It really makes sense and adds a layer of challenge to the passing game.

At first I was blowing everybody out with the pass but now my QB (Scott Zolak) is getting exposed. I'm throwing a lot of picks now. The game is definitely getting harder as the season progresses. My last 3 games have been nail-biters where a team missed a last second field goal and I won, another where I had to make a defensive stop to win, and another where I had to drive from my own 10 yard line in the final 2 minutes to set up a GW field goal. Still undefeated, but I don't know for how much longer since my receivers keep getting put in the hospital.
