The catch was one of the luckiest things to happen. If it was a catch by like Larry Fitzgerald, then it wouldn't be bad to have it in the game once in a blue moon. It was made by a guy who isn't even in the league anymore. It's happened once in real life and likely won't happen again

I been playing for a while and ain't seen that catch but once are twice. It doesn't show up but once in a while. Not bothering me.

I'm convinced this 1-in-a-trillion catch is played once per game just to anger pats fans...



Honestly, I believe that when EA Tiburon comes up with a new idea they want it to be seen by every single person who even plays madden just that once.

These stand-out things should be set to be very rare occurances so when I see them they look fresh and new. Instead it seems like they say, "well, we want everybody to see this new cool idea, so we better make sure it plays once per game" regardless of how crazy the situation might be.

Same thing with wounded duck throws when the QB is hit, or the flip in the air catch animation...



maybe EA should consider a demo mode where all the rare things play out very often so they can show off their new bells and whistles in their 2 min demos.

Way overplayed along with the Kevin Boss hurdle. I just have two words for both being played so much.

Me, myself I don't have a problem with it being in the game for situations like deep throws down the field and it's a go get it type situation but not for somethin as simple as a Slant route.. I would rather them take this out the game ONLY if they can put more sideline and Cris Carter type catches.

Believe it or not the David Tyree catch did happen this past season. Kasim Osgood of the Chargers pulled it off during the regular season.

yeah this animation is a good example of a gimmick: no substance but something used to get attention and sales.

I've seen that catch once in my entire time playing the game. It doesn't bother me at all. But if people are seeing it often, I guess they should remove it from the game.
