    How do you switch goalies?

Ouick question and probably blindingly obvious...

But how do you switch goalies? It's not in the 'Edit Lines' section.

I want to take out Osgood because he's crap. He's let in 12 goals in 3 games and 3 of them came in the last 2 minutes of a game against the Blackhawks (which I lost 5-2).

Fist time playing the Be A GM Mode. Usually I play Be A Pro.

    Thanks in advance.

In game, it isn't in edit lines unless play is dead. In the game menu, it is in edit lines.

Like he said, you can either access it from the main menu by going through EDIT LINES or if you want to switch goalies during a game it's best you do it before the game even starts or during an intermission.

For '11'...I'm hoping we'll be able to switch goalies at anytime during the game.

Unless I'm missing something, [off-line] with the game in progress, you must wait till intermission to change goalies. Is that right?

No you can change goalies during a game, it's just play must be stopped.

You could also do it by calling a time-out then going to edit lines.

Re: How do you switch goalies?

Oddly enough this popped up for me last night after never having a problem before. Had me scratching my head...

Started a quick Battle for the Cup to play a PIT/MTL series with playoff atmosphere. Fluery allowed 4 goals on 13 shots by the second period so I went for the hook. But the players were set at the faceoff circle after the 4th goal by the time I made up my mind. The goalies were not visible in Edit Lines -- because it wasn't technically a stoppage in play as others have said -- so I decided to just leave him in and didn't bother do go back during a stoppage.

MAF must've known he was about to be yanked, as he turned it around to stop the final 15 MTL shots. Too bad I could only muster one goal against Halak. Down 1-0 and no more home ice.
