Madden 11 worth buying?

As usual the expectations for the new Madden are sky high but I wanna know if the changes they made are worth a whole new game.

For me, it's necessary to add depth to the Franchise mode because it's so important to replay value. (There's only so many online games you can play) I like what they did last year with the new Franchise hub but it really didn't offer any new features, if anything it took away from the depth of the game mode. (When will EA realize, for Franchise mode more is ALWAYS better)

I'm not sure what your 'X' factor is, if you ever have one at all, for buying Madden 11 but for some reason this year I've gotten tired of the same old few game play additions, presentation additions and limited expansion of franchise mode. That's why I've pre-ordered NCAA 11 and haven't even thought about buying Madden 11 yet.

Here we go again. Another one these kind of threads. Bro right now there has been no blogs on Franchise mode yet. To early to judge the game to wheather are not it is worth buying. It just seems people around here is jumping the gun to early around here. As I said before around here. Wait until after E3 in june before you start deciding wheather madden 11 is worth buying are not. Once E3 is over all of the info should be out and then you can decided then. Until then why not keep a open mind about this. What info and gameplay clips we have seen looks good. But for now it is to early to tell what they have done to franchise mode this year. Just best to wait and see.

My point is there is no reason to go all crazy about madden 11 until we have all the info. E3 is usually the place where all the info is reveiled finally and a ton of videos on youtube of gameplay. Once that happens then people can decide if the game is worth buying are not. But setting here and wondering wheather the game is worth buying are not without all the info is kind of dumb to sort of speak. I know from 06 to 09 madden wasn't all that good. But madden 10 was alot better. I believe madden 11 is going to be real good. But for now I wish people would just keep a open mind until after E3 next month.

If you're not poor, or hit hard by the recession then definitely.

The amount of enjoyment you gain out of a $60 video game is far more than most other things you can buy with $60.

The utility value of Madden is high.

If you like the NFL. Then buy the only NFL licensed game. Its a 'no-brainer'

$60.00 (if you have a good paying job, or parents/guardians that do) isn't all that much for something that will give you more enjoyment than other things you could waste it on, especially since it usually lasts 9-12 months. Although, there are other things you could do with it i'm sure, although those things won't last as long.

I'll get it, even though i'm sick of Madden 10. I say that every year and still get the new one and love it.

But if you're an NFL fan, and want to keep up with the times [insert canned animations comment] than get it.

If Locomotion = real, and route based passing is in the game, then I'll at least be close to the ticket booth.

Go to www.bing.com, select the shopping link, then do a search for Madden 11 + wal-mart. Make sure you get the one with the $20 gift card. There was a trick where you had to do a special search to get the 15% discount. It was months ago though, so they may have fixed it now. I could justify almost any sports game new at the $35 range.
