Changing from Closer to Starter in My Player?

I'm in my 4th or 5th year as a Closer in My Player and want to switch to being a Starter. I've raised my stamina up to 93, but I'm still stuck as the closer. Is there any way to change position or would I have to start all over? I'm playing on 360 by the way.

I've only done it as a position player, but in Career Decisions, is there an option to change positions from closer to starter? As a position player, you can change to anything, not just among similar outfield positions, or 2B to SS. I would imagine you could do the same as a pitcher (but then again, I wouldn't be surprised if they left it out and you couldn't).

Nope, all I see in Career Decisions is request a trade and recommend a free agent.
