Re: ACQB M10 Franchise Game Discussion/Ish-Talking Thread
When I followed the league in season 2 the Colts were a doormat team. The Colts have turned things around this season while not getting the same fanfare as the Bills or Bengals have. Congrats, catcatch!Comment

Thank you, Creatine is an awesome player and I only played him once before in All Pro football in a 6 - 0 loss. So I was truly worried about this contest. I must say he lived up to the billing.
It was a close game that got away from the Steelers because of one man, Bob Sanders. He forced 2 fumbles, one on a strip and the other on a big hit stick tackle. Sanders also had 2 picks. Sanders by himself was responsible for 4 turnovers and was named player of the game. Unfortunately on the 2nd game winning pick he was hit just as he made the INT and was severely injured. Bob will be out for 8 weeks. Subsequently knocking him out for the playoffs.
He wasn't the only man that got injured, Donald Brown is out for 4 weeks.
All in all it was a great game with a lot of big tough hard hits out there.Comment

That's a huge win indeed. First big upset of the post-season. Last season IND was like 8-8. Next round should be interesting.Comment

GG Catcatch! You played smart football and Sanders came up big for you. I tried to run at your D and your rookie DT was going to have none of it (Gutenkunst).Thank you, Creatine is an awesome player and I only played him once before in All Pro football in a 6 - 0 loss. It was a fun, physical, playoff-style game... the ones I relish.

Re: ACQB M10 Franchise Game Discussion/Ish-Talking Thread
Just lost to Paniro in OT in what was the craziest game i've played in some time. We had every chance to win it. James missed more passes than I can count, including the one that caused us to punt in OT and would have put us at the 50 if he made it. The defense also had some drops that would have ended the game, and Grimes had two consecutive catches where he beat the last man and then stepped out of bounds from the animation. Despite the obsecene yardage total for Forte, we held him in check for most of the game except for two plays which totaled about 120 yards together. I had my share of lucky breaks as well, with the Bears having drops on D. Paniro played a tough game and deserved the win.
He made some clutch plays too. With 10 seconds left in the game, down 3, and 1 TO left, he got sacked at the 50 and somehow ran a no huddle pass to Coulston in traffic, got the 15 yrd gain, the TO, and the FG to tie it. Unbelievable. In retrospect, I wish I had called a TO right before you hiked it.
GG Paniro. GL in the next round.Last edited by teambayern; 05-11-2010, 09:35 PM.GT: Teambayern5
