With the rumors of the Jets possibly coming back. Seeing how we won't officially know until around June, if they do end up coming back, will they be in the game or not?

I know the Coyotes alternate jersey can be the jets jersey but will the name, logo, commentary all be changed for the jets team or what?

I wouldn't bet on the Jets coming back. The NHL wants a team in PHX and there are ALWAYS rumors of Winnipeg getting a team.

We're going to see the Coyotes for a few more seasons, I'm sure.

Glendale City Coucil just voted unanimously to work to keep the Coyotes in Glendale.

With their recent successful season they might as well keep them in Glendale at least another year to see if ticket sales spark. However, low ticket sales has more to do with the fact that they're in Glendale (far from Scottsdale) than the fact that they've had bad seasons.

We'll see I guess. Hopefully I'm wrong.

It ain't happening. It's pretty much official that the team is staying in Phoenix. God knows why but whatever.

Hopefully in NHL 11 they add classic logos to use for Create a Team because I find it stupid I can't recreate the Jets.

Bettman's trying to sell the team to a billionaire but whether he moves it from PHX to Winnipeg or not is uncertain, although Hartford is trying really hard to get a team back so if the desert dogs don't get sold we could see the Whalers coming back.

It ain't happening. It's pretty much official that the team is staying in Phoenix. God knows why but whatever.

Hopefully in NHL 11 they add classic logos to use for Create a Team because I find it stupid I can't recreate the Jets.

i agree 1000%. this is a must.

what they need to do is make NCAA's teambuilder site universal across all EA sports games. you could just choose to make a hockey team, or a baseball team, or a football team, then go through the whole process of uploading logos and the like.

it would make things a lot easier.

There is no reason they can't add the old jerseys for a lot of these teams. The Jets, the old Atlanta Flames jerseys, etc, etc.

That should DEFINITELY be part of the game.

I never really liked the Jets (and always thought it was a poor team name) and prefer the 'Yotes ... but that's not excuse for not having it in the game. The Phoenix organization owns the rights to the Jets name and uniforms. Add it.

Finally, there is no reason we can't have "BE AN OWNER" mode. Akin to the old Madden where you can improve the stadium, sell items, have attendance and even move the team. That would be the best option altogether, to me.

Every classic team but the Whalers are available. I wear the Jets jerseys playing as Phoenix sometimes, or the Nordiques while playing as the Avs or an Atlanta Flames jersey, even Rockies/Scout jerseys as Jersey

It's got something to do with the city of Harford retaining the rights to the Whalers, and not the NHL or Carolina.

Anyway, this whole situation regarding Phoenix has me totally bummed-out. Blaming the Maple Leafs makes me feel a bit better, since $$$ teams like that are the reason the league can use revenue sharing for dogs like the Coyotes (see what I did there).

On a related note, how the hell did Columbus get a team? Somebody remind me.

I agree with this. I recreated the Jets in NHL 2006, but now you can't anymore

FYI Hartford's ownership of the Whalers logo and jerseys has run out that is why hats, and shirts are now being made again and why 2k used hartford last year
