So, does anyone know what factors determine who makes the tourney?

I'm still doing my DePaul dynasty. I was 13-2 with wins over Nova, Vandy, Pitt, and GTown, losses @ Northern Iowa and @ St. Johns, and I wasn't projected to be in the tourney. I beat Notre Dame which put me at 14-2 and gave me the Big East lead, and now I'm a 3 seed.

Obviously, I know being a tourney champ gives you an auto bid, which is why I'm currently projected to make the tourney. But given my resume and the fact that I'm a #3 seed, why am I not in tourney if I were an at-large?

Does the prestige rating play that big of a role?

I just want to know as the way it seems now, I need to win my conference tourney to make the Big Dance. I just don't want to feel like this is the only way to make the tourney as DePaul in future seasons because they're not a college basketball powerhouse...

I just ask because my friend finished 21-10 with Iowa and went to the Big Ten tourney finals, and ended up with the #2 seed in the NIT. Seems damn difficult to make the Big Dance

Same options as last year, that was the largest complaint. Why would that be overlooked...So they spent 12 months focused on game play tweaks and RPI?

Guys, I have a question..
I'm going to be using a team that won't be on "National TV" that much.
What's the broadcast presentation for non-televised games like?
Or is every game on CBS or ESPN?
I'm sure it's been talked about before..

You still get the visual broadcast presentation but no commentary track. Its a bit strange to be honest. I would rather they create a basic webcast like presentation for smaller teams and then you could work up to playing in the big time on CBS and ESPN.

I'm actually thinking about picking this up again as I just saw it's $14.99 @ Gamefly with free shipping. I'd be getting the PS3 version this time, to avoid (or decrease) the freezing issue. I did enjoy the game when I could actually play it.

I'm actually thinking about picking this up again as I just saw it's $14.99 @ Gamefly with free shipping. I'd be getting the PS3 version this time, to avoid (or decrease) the freezing issue. I did enjoy the game when I could actually play it.

I am thinking about jumping on that deal to. I sold my copy on Ebay over the summer but now I am wishing I would have not done that.

I did the same thing a litlte while back. I sold my 360 version but after the NCAA Tournament was over I decided to buy the PS3 version used on Ebay for about $20. I haven't got to play it much since I bought it but I'm planning on maybe starting a dynasty in the next few weeks just to see if it holds my interest. I'm itching for a new college basketball experience and I thought this would give me a break from CH2K8. Anyone have any good sliders they are using? I've always played default, which isn't all that bad, but I'm looking for a good set if someone has them and would like to recommend. Thanks.

I used Blue's Varsity set and that was pretty good.

I'm hoping that DeadlyCane's roster is still available for PS3. I believe he also has a slider set that got good reviews.
