    THE NEW TEAMS

    SAN DIEGO

After years of turmoil in Milwaukee, the NBA is moving the Bucks Franchise to San Diego, renaming the Franchise the Typhoon. San Diego sport fan's have already flooded the store's picking up their Brandon Jennings jersey's.

    SEATTLE

Seattle sports fans fought hard to keep the Sonic's in town, but they still bolted for Oklahoma City, however cheers where heard across the city when the NBA annoucned that the Washington Wizards were coming to town. With a roster loaded with troubled talent, GM BJ Dezaron was quoted saying "Roster changes will be made Day 1, so don't go out and buy your Agent Zero jersey's quite yet." The team was renamed the Savage

    LAS VEGAS

For Year's the NBA has fought the idea of putting a team in the Sin City, but after a insane offer from Billionaire Casino Owner Sheldon Allison, the NBA finally gave up, moving the Minnesota Timberwolves to Las Vegas... Legendary College Coach Bryan Young will act as Team President and GM. Young was quoted saying "This team has some great pieces to the puzzle, but is still missing some key pieces to complete the team as a NBA Champion. My goal is to find those missing pieces"

I am controlling the 3 Relocated teams, however the Las Vegas Vipers are my main team. I plan on playing at least 10-15 games a year with them, probably 5-10 with the other 2. Mainly rivalary games. I will play Seattle vs Portland. Vipers vs Suns and of course San Diego vs the Sacremento/Golden State. I will also probably play the Lakers and Clippers games.

I still prefer playing the college game more, fits my style, but I am sure once I find sliders that work well with 2k9, I will like the game better.

                  2010 SEASON RECAP

The Los Angles Lakers once again showed they are #1 in the NBA finishing the year with a 59-23 record (Best in the NBA) to claim the #1 seed in the Playoffs.

There were also 2 huge surprises in the West and that was that the Seattle Savage behind the play of Joe Johnson pulled off a 42-40 finish to claim the 8th seed in the West and the Los Angeles Clippers finishing the year 51-31 to claim the #4 seed in the West.

The East was full of surprises first with the fact that the New Orleans Hornets finished the year with the best record (54-28) to claim the #1 seed. The 2nd being that Seattle wasn't the only team that benifited from the Johnson/Arenes trade as the Atlanta Hawks finished (49-32) to claim the #3 seed, well the Cleavland Cav's struggled finishing 46-36 getting the #4 seed and the Orlando Magic finished the year (44-38) getting the #5 seed.

                  2009-2010 PLAYOFFS

                  #1 Lakers vs #8 Savage

                  #2 Mavs vs #7 Nuggets

                  #3 Spurs vs #6 Jazz

                  #4 Clippers vs #5 Blazers

                  #1 Hornets vs #8 Raptors

                  #2 Celtics vs #7 Pistons

                  #3 Hawks vs #6 Heat

                  #5 Magic vs #4 Cavs

                  How the Playoffs Finished......

Like the Regular Season the Playoffs were full of Surprises.. Going to a 3 game format the for the opening round we saw many higher seeds falter early..

                  Round 1

Lakers defeat the Savage, Nuggets defeat the Mav's, Spurs defeat the Jazz and the Blazers defeat the Clippers.

Hornets defeat the Raptors, the Celtics defeat the Pistons, the Heat defeat the Hawks and the Cav's defeat the Magic.

                  Round 2

Lakers defeat the Blazers and the Nuggets defeat the Spurs.

Hornets defeat the Cav's (Could Lebron go to Charlotte??) and the Celtics defeat the Heat.

                  SEMI-FINALS

The Denver Nuggets shocked the world as they swept the Lakers in the Western Finals 3-0 in the new Best of 5 format.

The Hornets however didn't have as easy as a time with the East Finals going to Game 5 and would come up short as the Boston Celtics defeat the them in Game 5, putting a end to what was a amazing year.

                  FINALS

Back to the Orginal 7 game Format for the Championship Round the Celtics dominate early taking a 3-1 lead. The Nuggets battle back to win 1 more at home before losing at Boston in a 4-2 Final..

THE BOSTON CELTICS ARE THE CHAMPS

Kevin Garnett was named the Playoffs MVP

                  AWARDS FROM THE 2009-2010 SEASON

                  Chris Paul was named MVP
                  T. Evens was Rookie of the Year
                  J. Richardson was named 6th Man

Going into the Draft many people figured that whoever landed the #1 Overall pick would take either John Wall or Evan Turner. Here is a look at the Big Board before we go to the Lottery Selection Show.

                    #1 J. Wall (Kentucky)
                    #2 Evan Turner (Ohio State)
                    #3 W. Johnson (Syracuse)
                    #4 D. Cousins (Kentucky)
                    #5 G. Hayward (Butler)
                    #6 C. Aldrich (Kansas)
                    #7 E. Bledsoe (Kentucky)
                    #8 D. Favors (Georgia Tech)
                    #9 D. Montijunes (Europe)
                    #10 D. Orton (Kentucky)

                    LOTTERY BALL LUCK

With a move to the Eastern Conference the Oklahoma Thunder struggled finishing with the worst record in the NBA going 25-37. That bad luck would continue as the Thunder landed with the worst possible pick getting the #4 Selection.. Another big loser in the Lottery was the New Jersey Nets who traded their pick to the San Diego Typhoon who after finishing with a (28-54) Record (2nd worst in the West) would claim not only the #2 Pick but the #3 pick as well. The Biggest Winner of the Lotto was the Houston Rockets who finished with a (36-46 Record) but yet still somehow landed the #1 Overall pick..

                    DRAFT ORDER

                    #1 Rockets #2 Typhoon #3 Typhoon #4 Thunder #5 Vipers #6 Kings

                    #7 Suns #8 Grizzlies #9 Bobcats #10 NY Knicks #11 Warriors

                    #12 Pacers #13 76's #14 Vipers #15 Raptors #16 Piston

                    #17 Savage #18 Heat #19 Magic #20 Nuggets #21 Jazz #22 Cav's

                    #23 Savage #24 Vipers #25 Clippers #26 Spurs #27 Mav's

                    #28 Celtics #29 Hornets #30 Lakers.

                        2010

The Las Vegas Vipers made a huge Pre-Draft trade dealing the #14 and #24 Picks along with Raja Bell (FA signing mid-season) to the Thunder for the #4 Overall Selection and Kyle Weaver.

The Seattle Savage made the Playoffs in their first year in Seattle, but that didn't stop them from looking to make a splash in the NBA Draft as well. The Savage dealt their #17 Selection along with the #23 (via the Hawks), Nick Young and J. Crittion to the Kings for the #6 Overall pick the Kings #1 Selection Next Year and Donte Greene.

ROCKETS SHOCK THE NATION TAKING D. COUSINS #1
Believing that they needed another Bigman to help take the Pressure off of Y. Ming, the Rockets take D. Cousin's over Turner and Wall. This could go down as the biggest mistake since Portland took Sam Bowie.
                        TYPHOON PLAYOFF BOUND??
San Diego sports fans have something to cheer about tonight as the Typhoon add Evan Turner (#2) and C. Aldrich (#3) to a lineup that already had PG B. Jennings, SG M. Redd and Center A. Bogut..

San Diego's GM "I realize some people probably wish we would've take J. Wall but we really felt like Jennings was our guy to run the team and that by adding Cole we got 2 guys who will start Day 1 for us, giving us a great team to build around. With Michael Redds in the last year of his contract we believe we have 4 pieces to the puzzle to be very good for a very long time."
                        LAS VEGAS COULDN'T BE HAPPIER
The Biggest winner in the draft tonight was the Vipers who not only landed probably the #1 Overall player in John Wall, but they also got SF W. Johnson giving Las Vegas 2 Instant Staters and 2 Amazing Players to build around for the next 10 years. With All-Star Al Jefferson already on board and promising youngsters Ricky Rubio,Wayne Ellington and Kevin Love, this team now the hottest attraction in Vegas..

Vegas GM B. Young "Landing Wall and Johnson is more then any GM could dream off. Wall will take over running the show, with Rubio and Ellington battling for the SG role. With the loser getting the 6th man tag. Johnson will join Love and Jefferson to round out the starting 5"
SAVAGE LAND D. FAVORS AT #6
The Seattle Savage looked to add the best bigman in the Draft and picked Georgia Tech's Derrick Favors.

Seattle GM "We actually felt like Favors was more ready to dominate in year 1 then Aldrich or Cousins. So we are very happy to be able to land him at #6. He will be a instant starter and give us a solid inside presence that will open up scoring opportunites for Joe Johnson and R. Foye fromt the outside"
                        How It Finished.

                        #7 D. Orton (Kentucky)-Suns
                        #8 G. Hayward (Butler) -Grizzlies
                        #9 C. Fisher (Nova) -Bobcats
                        #10 H. Whiteside (Marshall)-Knicks

                        #12 J. Vessley(Europe)-Pacers
                        #13 D. Montijuans( Europe)-76's

                        #17 P. Patterson(Kentucky)-Kings
                        #18 A. Ogilvey(Vanderbilt)-Heat
                        #19 J. Anderson(Oklahoma State)-Magic
                        #20 L. Hayward(Marquette) -Nuggets
                        #21 X. Henry(Kansas)-Jazz
                        #22 S. Collin(Kansas)-Cav's
                        #23 E. Edoh(Baylor)-Kings
                        #24 J. Freddette(BYU)-Thunder
                        #25 S. Mack (Oregon)-Clippers
                        #26 C. Monroe (Georgetown)-Spurs
                        #27 D. Butler (W. Virginia)-Mav's
                        #28 L. Harangody (Notre Dame)-Celtics
                        #29 Q. Pondexter (Washington)-Hornets
                        #30 S. Alabia (FSU)-Lakers

                        2ND ROUND NOTEABLES

Warriors take P. George (Fresno State)
Bobcats take D. James and A. Brady (Texas)
                        Typhoon take L Sanders (VCU)
                        Savage take Ed Davis (UNC)

I really think that the Vipers and Typhoon were huge winners in the draft but Seattle getting Favors and Davis in the 2nd Round also come up big..

I thought that the Thunder did a good job getting quality players in Singler #14 and Fredette #24 from the trade and the Kings did well getting P. Patterson at #17 and E. Edoh at #23.

Other winners were the Spurs getting G. Monroe at #26 (Future replacement for Duncan) and the Jazz getting X. Henry at #21.

Losers were the Bobcats reaching for Fisher at #9 and the Clippers taking a no-namer in S. Mack at #25

Both the Typhoon and Vipers are changed overnight by the draft.. I am excited to see how the season unfolds and to see what kind of draft picks all 3 teams end up with at the end of the year.., but what I am really excited about is creating the Fab 5 guys and seeing where they land as well as the rest of the Board members in this years Draft Class..

This is going to be exciting to see where my player will be heading and when he is taking in the draft. Would be nice to land a spot on one of the new teams Especially Seattle, or if I happen to be on a pre-existing team Chicago is what I hope for, but where ever I go, I just hope I can make a huge impact on the team.
