Here is the LINK for MLB10 opn day for MLB 09

    Hello guys,

With a little help from OS, I was able to upload this file for everybody.

This is a roster file using Knights end of season roster for MLB 09' and updating (most of the transactions, including non-roster invite, Free agents, trades, call-ups, etc.) to the 2010 opening day (no more moves were done after this day). I believe there were a few players missing from the end of season set, but they were really low key minor league player transactions.

Every (MLB) team line-ups and rotation were set using mlbdepthcharts.com for the 2010 opening day.

    http://www.sendspace.com/file/ehowph

After you unzip this file, you must put these attachments into this folder

    "BCUS98180_ROST_00000000CBFFD015"

Then into "SAVEDATA" then into "PS3"

You will see a bunch of fake players with ratings down to zero, this was a system used by knight to make roster moves, so if you are wondering why are there players with no ratings in the minor league system, that's why: there were fake players needed to clear roster space to make moves, if every player was real, there would be no room to make trades, etc.

Hope you guys enjoy the roster, I loved MLB 09 and could not stop playing. MLB 09 does have the same problem as 10, after spring training, you will have to reset all lineups and pitch rotations, pain!

I did not go thru and change jersey numbers for all the new transactions, sorry.

Well I've downloaded the file and extracted it into the specific folders mentioned (PS3>SAVEDATA>BCUS98180_ROST_00000000CBFFD015) on my thumbdrive. When I try to load the roster in the game it says that it's corrupted and doesn't load. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Same thing is happening for me. I used winrar to unzip the files, and then followed all the steps. It lets me copy it to the PS3, but when I go and try to load the roster, it says it's corrupt. Any help would be appreciated.

        Thank you,

For some reason he didn't save the entire PS3 folder, which would have appropriate files in it and then you'd just upload the PS3 folder to the PS3 and you're set to go. It seems, from looking at the download, that the contents of the BCU....file were taken out and then zipped. I know he gave the instructions, but maybe this will help....

          There is a

          PS3 folder

inside of this is the SAVEDATA folder

Inside of the SAVEDATA folder should be the BCU...... folder.

Inside the BCU...... is where you put all the files from his zip file.

Thank you for the reply. I understand how the PS3 save thing is structured, I've copied saved files before. I did exactly what you just wrote. Like I said it lets me copy the save file onto the ps3 save data utility and I can even see it when i go to load the file inside the game. However, when I go to load it, it says it is corrupted. Has anyone download this exact link and tried this. I think the actually files themselves may be corrupted or something.

            Thanks again

Maybe he can post the PS3 folder that has everything in it. When you save a franchise, or a roster, it will pack it, for the want of better words, all in one PS3 folder. Everything you need will be in that and there's no need to mess with it. Maybe something was omitted when he removed the files that are in the zip????

if these are still on your ps3 just copy it to a flash drive. make sure there are no other saves already on your flash drive. on your flash drive there should be a folder called ps3. you should be able to right-click the entire ps3 folder and create a zip file of the folder. it will most likely be called ps3.zip. then upload that file to any file uploading site such as zshare.net, rapidshare.com, etc.

It should work after that. Sorry to keep bothering you about these lol

                        Thanks

Here's a new link, please let me know if there are any problems. See first post for details about roster and Knight's old system for roster moves.

There's a problem with rapidshare, so I had to use a temp upload account, so the first ten people will be able to download this file until rapidshare is back up. Sorry!

I will post another link which will have unlimited downloads.

So I put the files from Psalm's first post onto a flash drive. Then I inserted it into my PS3. Since I couldn't find any of the files on my PS3 dashboard, I pulled out the flash drive. At that moment my PS3 shut off immediately and I got the flashing red light. And it's definitely not due to overheating because it was only on for 15 minutes.
