How Come Us Equipment Guys Can't Get What We Want?

Seriously it shouldn't be that hard to fix this problem. I understand why the "gameplay guys" get upset with us "equipment guys" but if they would just fix the dang problem we would shut up. Gameplay is harder to fix than making sure all the RevoSpeed facemasks are in the game and that each teams uniforms are correct. You guys who make fun of people like me just don't understand how much it frustrates us to not have this stuff correct. No it doesn't effect the way a WR catches a football on the field but if something as simple as equipment is ruining the game for you then that stuff doesn't matter. I want to play a game that is as real a possible, and that starts with making each player look like they look on Sundays. There needs to be different chin straps for guys like Brett Favre who don't wear those big bulky ones. We need mouth guards like DeAngelo Williams wears. Oh and we there deffinitely needs to be more cleat options. I know this thread is going to get blasted with hate from you "gameplay guys" but I don't care, I'm posting this so maybe the Madden guys will fix this problem that has been bugging OCD people like me for many years.

getting those details right is not easy. You have to think how much film the art team would have to watch to make sure they got every little thing correct.

even if they did make these changes you would then complain that they didn't do Ed Reed's beard correctly. They know that folks like you won't be satisfied so they don't bother.

I'm thinking a lot of these details change yearly. I'm surprised it's such a big deal given that the camera is 20 yards away from players when playing. It's not like you can oogle at Steve Smith's socks while you're running a play.

I couldn't care less about what Ed Reed's beard looks like, I'm talking about equipment. I don't even expect them to make sure every player is wearing the right helmet and facemask, just make sure every helmet and facemask is in the game so that I can change it myself. I don't understand why this can't be fixed, it's all that I want from Madden 11 because I think the game is fine. I only play the game a few times a week so I don't see all these glitches that you guys see from playing the game 5 hours a day. Ian needs to get this fixed so people like me will shut up and leave you guys alone to complain about offensive lineman missing a block that ended with your QB getting sacked. News flash, it happens all the time in the NFL so if there are no sacks in Madden you're taking away from the authenticity.
