I heard Kobe got his knee drained over the weekend. I hope he's ready to go tonight. It's gonna be a tight series. If anyone thinks LA is gonna cruise to the finals, you are SORELY mistaken.

I see a couple of Laker blow outs and a couple of games where the Lakers pull it out at the end of games. With a Suns win sprinkled in their somewhere. lol

Like I said in the other thread, I think its going to be a series that will look more lopsided than it actually will be. Five really tight games, with the Lakers coming out on top.

Keys to beating Phoenix.

1) DO NOT DOUBLE!!! Their 3 point shooters will be the best the Lakers have faced this post season. If you leave any of their players open (other than Amare) they can hit a 3.

2) Get the ball inside. Even if Lopez plays, he won't play a lot. Use the Lakers length on offense to score easy buckets.

3) Defensive rebounds. DO NOT GIVE UP SECOND CHANCE SHOTS.


Anyone remember Tim Thomas ripping out the Lakers hearts from 3 point range a few years ago? (see my #1)

Can't wait for this game. Glad I'm off today because, I only got to see bits and pieces of Magic vs Celtics but, luckily I caught the last 5 or 6 minute during lunch yesterday. Hope PHX wins tonight, I'll be rooting for em but, I just hope It's competitive. The Magic vs Celtics was looking pretty boring at one point when the Celtics got that double digit lead.

Hoping this game will keep my interest strong tonight.

As if being picked against by almost every media pundit out there isn't enough to stoke the Suns' fire, they continue to hear about the Lakers' frontcourt that so many expect to have its way with Stoudemire & Co.

"We definitely play down low," Stoudemire said when asked if he was tired of hearing about the 7-foot duo of Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum. "They just have two guys, so once you beat Gasol you have your little brother right behind you. That makes him a better player.

Steve Nash and Grant Hill I like.

Even though they play on another team I'll be sad if the Lakers beat them. I think both have gone through a lot and deserve to hold an NBA championship in their hands.

That said, watching Amare and that little cocky mother #@%%# that comes in for Nash lose will give me joy that will make up for the sadness I feel for Steve and Grant.
