I just spent 20 or so minutes playing the linebacker blitz drill simply watching blind-side tackles. Its also easy to spend a more than a few minutes watching a single instant replay. My only wish is that they gave you camera control during instant replays.

This game just keeps handing me awesome moments. I need to be recording at all times lol.
I'm Chicago against Columbia on hard.
Tied 7-7 with :27 to go in the 2nd. Columbia goes to kick a FG and I take a player to go block it. I bust through the line and dive..I don't block it(although watching the replay, if I had just been angled a little to the right, I would have blocked it) but end up clobbering the holder instead. I love that...I noticed the holder put his arms out, bracing for impact.
What other game do you see something like that in?

I mean I CLOBBERED his butt to the ground. I laughed so hard because I was only diving to block the kick, not really to tackle anyone and the holder happens to be in my path.

I'm still enjoying the game at this time.

Anyone notice the A.I. kicking XP and FG's? On two games hard and two games medium, the A.I has missed 3 XP's and 2 chip shot FG's.

Also, still seeing questionable A.I end of the quarter play calling or mismanagement of the clock.

One thing I do wish was toned down is the jump passes. I really wish they weren't in the game or at least extremely rare. One of the few negatives for me so far.

Even though I have seen a couple amazing looking hits off the those jump passes. Had one where my qb jumped and got hit by a guy low and than another guy came over the top and slammed him.

Not sure what you mean here. Are you playing on Pro or Arcade? Are you talking about shifting or simply calling the defensive formation to match up with the offenses personal? The latter you can defiantly do.

It does show you the personal on the offense, right above where you call your play. You just have to wait a second for the CPU to select it's play.

yeah i noticed that my second go around. i guess i was too busy checking out other stuff to actually notice it earlier. now that i see that isn't an issue i don't have any issues besides the fact that i suck at playing qb.

I've been a day one purchaser for a while, but I had some doubts & most of them were proven wrong which I glad to say.

I thought special teams would be an issue, with the controls & camera angel I thought returns would be impossible, but it's not, I haven't returned one yet but I had a couple of really nice returns. I made a few very nice looking moves & followed my lead blocks.

The controls are a lot more responsive then I expected too, actually the most responsive I've played in maybe any sports game yet honesty.

The defensive AI is better than I expected along with the blocking. I had a great blitzing OLB picked up just in the nick of time while I has panicking in the pocket LoL

My main concern had actually been more on getting a lot of sacks while on defense, I actually don't get sacked too often, myself but I get them often. But it's seemed to be a lot better since I moved from medium to hard now. I hope there are sliders.

But overall, yes I am def still getting it on day one.

Is it too much to ask to get impressions instead of all the whining about Madden??? I want to know what folks think about the BB Demo....I already know what folks think of Madden. Save it for those forums over there--->

Anyways, mine just started downloading, woke up late, and obviously in a bad mood. But seems like minor details are the only problems here...still looking for more impressions...keep them coming.

WOW!

I'm playing on hard and pro and the other team just steam rolled me for a TD good mix of run and throw.

I couldn't get anything going and punted away. Then I got an int in my endzone because they were about to score again.

I got a couple of big runs and a couple of nice passes and threw a beauty TD in the back of the middle of the enzone.

my guy who caught it puts his arms up to celebrate and ran into the goal post and knocked himself down!!!!

I know some people are saying they hate the view, but from watching the vids online, the view has me fired up bigtime!! It looks unreal.

I will post how I feel in a few hours once I play it..but these vids look great folks.

Back of the Endzone....sounds hot....Are you guys seeing varied catch animations?

Also someone mentioned jump passes, is it overly sensitive where you have to be completely still to throw a regular looking pass?

does anyone know if it has the option to be locked onto one player until you change? like other ps3 users I can't wait until Tuesday.

Once all the excitement of the tackling engine wears off, I think what will make this game extend its dynamics is the ability to demonstrate the subtle differences an nuances of the different player's attributes...At least for me, this is one of a sports games biggest differentiators.

Are you guys noticing the differences in player ratings and abilities to make the game feel really dynamic or do you think everyone seems to be performing more on a linear platform?
