    PROS:
-Blocking and tackling seem as awesome as promised
-I really like how they handled the QB looking at different receivers
-Graphics / Art Style look really good, and even better in motion
-Seems like it plays a solid game of football in all phases (offense, defense, special teams)

    CONS:
-Not really a fan of the tank-like controls for running, wish players controlled more freely
-Instant replays in the demo are terrible, hopefully the retail game has more options
-Presentation is as crappy as Madden
-Same music on the kickoff will get old pretty quick
    -Runningback jukes look pretty stupid
-CPU pass defense logic isn't too good

I may have come off as a bit critical, but despite the CONS I listed, I like how the game plays and am looking forward to digging into it deeper once I clear out my backlog of other great games. One thing is for sure though, this beats the **** of of All-Pro Football by a country mile.
    1) There will be a lot more options in the final build for replays.

    2) You can customize your music on the final build.

    3) I think they look great, but you're entitled to your opinion.

    4) Play against Indianapolis on pro/hard and tell me they're easy. There is also something called "Form" in the final build which lets you handicap if things are too easy.

Agreed 100%. I would strongly consider buying this game if I could have a more pulled out camera, ala Madden. It is simply way too close to the action and I get totally lost on Defense most of the time. I also hate that you have to be stuck looking behind the Defense (while playing Defense) instead of being able to swing the camera around to a more conventional view. It really makes me mad when companies try to get too cute for their own good, a simple set of camera options (with one option being a pulled out camera) would rectify this problem easily. The camera that we are stuck with ruins the game for me, and that's sad because I see a lot of stuff that I do like....oh well, maybe next year.

No offense, because you have a right to your opinion.....but I find it sad and disheartening that people are not giving this game a chance because of the camera. I think the camera in this game is more realistic then the god view in Madden. You shouldnt be able to see the whole field, because football isnt played that way.

What a piece of crap this is. After scoring all off turnovers (the first was a 109 Yard Missed FG return, second was a sack with the QB fumbling the ball way into the air and the NOSETACKLE picking it off and running past everyone for the TD), but now we block a punt (lol) and the punter picks it up. We tackle him, theres a HUGE dogpile (like 10+ people laying on him. He stands up and starts running in a circle and the play is STILL ACTIVE. We tackle him again, same thing, he just stands up through the pile and continues to run. This is so bugfilled and being so close to release you know its the final build.

Not to mention the blocking is terrible. And Ugh @ the camera.

Well, back to playing a game of dogpile the punter.

I like the camera angle personally in most situations. My only issue with it right now is the fact that tackle alley and the running game in game seem to have different camera angles. In game it wont let me see in front of my RB on outside runs and that really gets to me. I would rather it be more centralized behind the RB so I could look downfield and then make moves accordingly.

For personally the camera on defense isn't a problem at all, as long as I control one player throughout the whole play.

The only legitimate problem I am having with the camera is when passing in terms of it being hard to read deep routes correctly.

I really do like the camera overall though, just for the fact that is is entirely new and different than what we are used. Getting crushed from the blind side and never seeing it coming for example is incredible.

I haven't run into one bug in about 4 hours of playing the demo. I honestly have no idea what demo your playing to call it a piece of crap.

people having some camera issues especially on defence, try focus with the left trigger, it pulls out a bit and focuses on where the ball is at all times, you can still go aggressive if you want as well. I use it a lot because the camera moves smothly, but never use it when I'm about to tackle because I tend to miss more.

Anyway, I"m sure that will help at least some people.

I just realized this as well a few minutes ago. Very good tip allBthere. It has helped me out tremendously. I was Captain Aggressive Mode on defense and it was killing me.

hmmmm, the punter is no longer getting up (I guess because the game is finally recognizing the hits/tackles) but the play is still going and its just tackle after tackle on the ground.

Agree wholeheartedly. I can understand being frustrated by the camera but don't see how it's some gamekiller. It's pretty exhilarating to evade someone in tackle alley and as you're running down the field you have to be wary of that guy pursuing you from behind or your blind side. In the traditional view you see everything around you and can safely plan to move w/o that worry. It's unfair to label the devs as trying to be "cute" when they were shooting for bringing a different gameplay experience. Additional camera options are always welcome/desireable but let's not forget this is the team's first attempt at a football game and needs to be judged accordingly.

True, but you must remember that this is a video game, I'm not playing actual football. Technically speaking, in real life receivers don't glow red when I look at them and my plays don't appear on the field when I push the right bumper, but that sort of thing happens in video games. It is sad and disheartening to me that the Backbreaker team didn't think far enough ahead to at least include other camera options, if they want these ones to be the default camera, then fine, but at least let me change the camera if I want to. The camera is a huge part of any video game and has made/broken games like Tomb Raider and Drakes Uncharted; if the camera isn't playable to the user, then not much else really matters at that point.

If you are good with the camera then that's fine and there is nothing wrong with that, but again, for others it is getting in the way of gameplay and that kinda sucks. It woulda been cool to see: The current Backbreaker cam, a happy medium between the Madden cam and the current Backbreaker one and then a Madden cam rip-off.

Though the camera is ...challenging. To me it gives the game more realism. The feeling of not knowing if I'm about to get blown up by the DE adds a little pressure to the whole situation.

Maybe I'm not expressing exaclty what I mean but it seems they are really trying to put you in those on field situations part of which is not having control of everything and being able to see everything at one time.
