What is the leading platform for Madden 11?

i know its been 360 every year but i just wanted to make sure for madden 11 just incase it is PS3 ..... i wanted to reserve my copy if a good offer came about from retailers via amazon or gamestop or something.

i hope its not a flame/ console war i am starting its just a simple question.

Looking at the charts it's going to be neck and neck this year, with the PS3 over taking the 360 with the release of Madden '12.

Stats definitely back that up. PS3 jumped big time last year. 360 actually fell (as of March). There's an outside chance that PS3 will be the dominate platform this year even.

Careful what you hope for. M$ is going to push DLC as the delivery mechanism as they can't compete with Blu-Ray and they don't want to spend the $$$ to create a competing hi-dev competitor. There won't be a new XBox until M$ is sure they can succeed on DLC alone. When that happens, we're all screwed. To be honest, the best thing that could happen is Sony ships a PS4+BluRay bundle. That's the only hope of stalling the DLC onslaught for another 5 years.

the 360 still sold over half a million copies of madden 10 over the PS3, 5 million more Households also have a Xbox than the ps3, Those numbers tell me that the 360 Will still sell more copies. Unless the PS3 overtakes the Xbox, More copies of Madden will be sold for the 360.

At a 30%+ failure rate. Odds are there's 5 million bricked systems out there. I have one here that's out of warranty and in need of repair, but good old ever taking care of the customer M$ wants $99 to fix it. I isolated the problem to the DVD Drive, and ordered a new laser for $14. But then, I have 2 XBox 360's as one is almost always broken in some form or fashion.

From everything I've read it's much easier to dev on 360 and port to ps3 then vice versa. Also, I'd imagine that there'd be an adjustment period as most of the team has been dev'ing on xbox 360 for this gen. I'd bet that this trend will continue, although I'd expect more and more parity across the platforms as the years pass.

I suspect EA will continue to develop Madden on the 360 simply because the 360 is easier to develop on from what I understand.
