Madden NFL 11 Superstar Mode

Any insights? This is the best mode in the game and it needs drastic improvements. It needs to be much more realistic. Somebody posted a list of excellent ideas in a forum but I can't find it. However this mode needs to be improved. If it gets stripped down, let 2K take over or bring out another Head Coach.

Superstar Mode cannot be any more stripped down than it was in Madden 10. Superstar Mode on Madden 06/07/08 on the PS2 was fun. It just hasn't adjusted to the next-gen well.

Last year ian and co said we did a ton to franchise this year, and next year it is our plans to work on more to superstart mode.

Mabey that means E3? I hope so because this is a mode with so much potential, but is so weak.

Madden was the first to add this concept and is the game with the weekest mode now.

I hope so. It's the only mode I play, as so many others. They need to think outside the box, and add the more real-life aspects (combine, training camp, film study, better contract talks, better interviews etc). I so wish 2K could make an NFL game. I love my player mode in NBA 2K10.

madden is way behind the other games in a superstar mode.

Id like to know about the ton they took to work on Franchise.Franchise never gets worked on.Just fixed for what was current.

Maybe a new online mode dealing with superstar mode. Maybe like their 3 vs. 3 team play. It does state on their website that their will be new info on a new online game mode.

I'd like to see them remove Road to Glory from NCAA & SuperStar mode from Madden and make a unique offering that combines both games and licenses centered around a single created player experience. But that's me.

The camera angles ruin, superstar mode, and multiplayer online play.

I'd like to see them remove Road to Glory from NCAA & SuperStar mode from Madden and make a unique offering that combines both games and licenses centered around a single created player experience. But that's me.

Or a game by itself, where the only mode is like Road To Glory mixed in with Superstar Mode. They made a Head Coach game seperate. Why not a Superstar one?

I was just about to say the same thing.

Superstar takes up disk space that could definitely be used for much better things, IMO. But, for those that like that mode, just make a seperate game, more RPG-like with more options than there are now.

Personally, it's a totally lame mode, and a waste of resources. However, like everything else, there is a niche market for it.

Because Head Coach failed.

I don't get why 2k10 can make a pretty damn good looking, if buggy My Player mode, that blows Superstar out of the water.
