My understanding is they can't talk about features or gaming aspects until it has officially been announced by EA.

      I wish they'd simply say:
"NHL 2010 was an 8.3 and from what I played on 2011, I'd give it a 9.4" or something to that affect.

I know but I was asking the exact date when they can tell us some things they experienced with the game. Pretty sure EA gives the CD guys a date when they can finally start spilling the beans on certain aspects.

They haven't given us the dates yet. If I had to guess, there might be an announcement of some kind within the next month. I will say no more on the matter, so don't even try.

QB can't tell you when the embargos lift because there is an embargo on that information

And there is an embargo on the embargo to the embargo as well. Or they just didn't tell us yet. You pick.

Hopefully physics includes hitting, checking, puck "physics" and goalie play. If it makes all those things considerably better this will be absolutely unbelievable...

the OXM the screenshots all tell you a LOT about the game without TELLING you... read into them what you want. But I checked this morning we are still lips sealed and everything about the DETAILS. can only confirm...

                    new physics engine
                    new faceoff mechanism
                    new deking
                    CHL inclusion

but how or WHAT or when..... can't say
That stuff sounds amazing but are there more gameplay improvements than that? If there are I will be blown away. Just those improvements will make the gameplay so much better.

This is my hope as well.

I agree Ch46647, if this new physic engine covers all of what you've mentioned, NHL'11' should be unreal good. I just wish we'd get a blog about the new engine. Now that the cat is outta the bag.

Of course there is. That was only the first bit of info to come out so far. They aren't going to reveal everything they've done in 1 magazine interview.

BTW, this game is going to be effing epic.

What's scary is that this is the FIRST BIT OF NEWS!!!

Normally EA tries to build up to the big finish.

So, if "CHL" and "New Physics Engine" are the beginning --- what's the grand finale?!
