Anyone seen much in the way of 3-pitch innings?

I've had umpteen 4-pitch innings, but never a 3-pitch.

Anyone completed this feat, yet?

Quite a while ago actually, 3/8 according to my trophy list. I don't remember the details, being several months ago, but I think it just happened in a random exhibition game I was playing. I think that's the only time I've actually done it myself, but I've seen the CPU pull that off while playing itself a few times, too.

Probably about 2-3 times. I believe once was a random exhibition game, and the other two was Danny Haren and Ian Kennedy

I got the trophy by getting the first person out in the inning then giving up a single and the next pitch was a ground ball to ss for a double play.

Actually i've had it happen 4-5 times during my season so far. Mostly against the bad teams though lol.

I've had two 3-pitch innings with my old RTTS pitcher, pretty rewarding both times. Now my new RTTS pitcher is a different story....

Yes I had one, just a week or so ago, in Franchise Mode. Oakland pitching, I think it was Braden, but not positive.

I did it pretty early in RTTS. Those AA hitters don't know when to take a pitch.

I actually was able to do this today with Josh Johnson on 3 2SFB against the Braves. I think its the first time though.

I did this by getting the first guy on one pitch, the letting up a double and getting the next guy to pop up then chucked the guy at third lol,

i think i may have gotten it once in rtts, they just couldnt lay off the fastball

i did it once too, today as a matter of fact in my mets franchise. i had john maine on the mound against the padres and when i accomplished it, i received a trophy that said tres bien. first time ever for me.

did this the other night with Cordero in my Reds franchise, winning 5-4 top 9 and gets a 3 pitch inning to earn the save. So much for comeback code
