Dragic did work against the Spurs. YouTube that.

If the Lakers don't find a creative way to attack the zone, or force the Suns perimeter guys like Dudley or Frye to put the ball on the floor, they're in deep trouble. I don't see many teams beating Phoenix in a 3 point shooting contest, which is exactly what the Lakers are in right now.

the lakers' inability to properly destroy this zone is problematic. this is basic aau/high school basketball strategy (when you face a vastly more athletic team or a team you can't guard one-on-one, change the tempo and employ a zone to take away their physical/skill advantages). i'm shocked that it hasn't been absolutely dominated.

He had improved a lot over the previous years, and was an effective contributor off the bench in the second half of the season.

This is the time as a player you probably hate having a halftime. The break may cool off the Suns, though it is possible that they come out and don't miss a beat. I'm hoping they can keep that offensive production up, but I doubt it.

Here's a question though, just hypothetically speaking. Say the Suns win this series and somehow the Magic pull off the miracle. Would that be good for the NBA? Would a Suns/Magic Finals be good for the league?

When the matchup allows the Suns to play zone defence, which they are playing effectively, they actually look like an upgrade of the Magic.
