Daly is still well known by most golf fans even the casual ones.. its a good choice imo.

Re: ProStroke Golf: World Tour Announcement and Screenshots
I'm interested mainly in the PC version. I have always found golf games more rewarding with mouse control. I hope they give this game good detailed sharp graphics on the PC version. The original xbox game was good, but it didn't have the best graphics. Hope they improve on this this time. I will probably get this for the PC.Comment

Re: ProStroke Golf: World Tour Announcement and Screenshots
Four new screenshots posted at TeamXBox.com, along with an E3 announcement. Also, John Daly will be at E3 demoing the game:
"We've just opened up the John Daly's ProStroke Golf Gallery with four just-released in-game screenshots showing off the graphics the game will offer when released. In other John Daly news, it has also been announced that “The Lion” himself will be on hand at this year's E3 event in the O-Games (Publishers of the game) booth showing off the game and challenging event goers."

I personally think these screens look a bit better than the first "pre-alpha" screens posted a couple of months ago.Duke Football? Hell yes it's Duke Football! --- Coach CutcliffeComment

Re: ProStroke Golf: World Tour Announcement and Screenshots
Looks like old Prostroke Game. The graphics look iffy. When this comes out so will NHL 11. Rather by that instead. PSG may be a rental for me.Comment

Re: ProStroke Golf: World Tour Announcement and Screenshots
I'd say that the graphics are serviceable, at best. If the gameplay is strong, I'll have no problem with the way it looks. At this point, I'll say that I'll have PSG at the top of my Gamefly rental queue, at release. If it passes muster, I'll buy it. I lost all interest in Pro Stroke Golf: 2007 on the XBox after a one week rental, but I did see some elements in it that could be built upon.Duke Football? Re: ProStroke Golf: World Tour Announcement and Screenshots
One thing that I've gleaned from looking at two of these screenshots is that there is a hint that this might be the way you, as the player, views the other golfers in your group as you're playing. They sort of pulled this off in Prostroke Golf 2007, but they weren't consistent with it.
I think it would be such an enhancement for a golf game to only use the shot camera view for your golfer only. You should be watching the other golfers from where your golfer would be standing in the virtual environment. I hope Gusto Games can pull this off in this game!Duke Football? Re: ProStroke Golf: World Tour Announcement and Screenshots
Hmmmm.... not a total surprise, but here's confirmation of at least one platform (PS3/Move) supporting motion control for Prostroke Golf: http://www.gamasutra.com/view/pressr...at_E3_2010.php
I'm expecting to see Natal support announced at some point prior to E3. Who knows, they may sit on the news until the actual E3?Last edited by OnlookerDelay; 06-02-2010, 03:17 PM.Duke Football? Hell yes it's Duke Football! --- Coach CutcliffeComment

Re: ProStroke Golf: World Tour Announcement and Screenshots
Destructoid posted a little E3 footage of ProStroke using the PS3 Move setup. Not much to see, but the game looks like its running very smooth. Figured a few of you might want to take a peek.
PROTIP: Turn the sound off to avoid the annoying kid.Comment

randogu, thanks for the link... that actually looked better than I thought it would. I'd like to get some better video, with a dev commenting about what's going on. Maybe there's hope here after all!Duke Football? Hell yes it's Duke Football! --- Coach CutcliffeComment
