Re: Western Conference Finals: Phoenix Suns vs. Los Angeles Lakers
I'm Armenian. And I just don't like Stu. I don't like how he comes across, just find him annoying. All announcers are annoying though.
I don't really care for Nicholoson because he's shoved down my throat constantly. Dude's just a symbol of it all. As far as acting, of course he's a good actor but not one of my favorites overall.Just read it. Great read. Reminds me of my hate for the Patriots, although not even close to as strong. A lot of the same reasons though. It really shows how much fans affect a teams image.
BTW why do you hate Jack Nicholson? I hate how they constantly show him throughout Laker games as if they need to remind the world that he's attending the game when he's attended every Laker home game since dinosaurs existed, but he's one of my favorite actors.Comment

Re: Western Conference Finals: Phoenix Suns vs. Los Angeles Lakers
ok i figured that.
although i think your hate is over the top, i do understand it. especially about the fans. i cant give my full answer here cuz i would probably get an infraction but there are some real idiots and A LOT of Bandwagoners out here who know NOTHING about basketball.
most of your hate is with the city though which is understandable"on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.yea but will they take psn cards

Gonna shoot you my email but why be secretive about it? Why not just post it for everyone to see? I'm sure I'll get the answer to that when I read it though...Originally posted by TheMatrix31I've sent it to both of you before, but I sent it again.

Re: Western Conference Finals: Phoenix Suns vs. Los Angeles Lakers
Hey, no problem, Maytch. Man, Phoenix is really great. They are good hearted people. you often can't generalize like that, but in Phoenix almost everyone I met was nice and somewhat humble. I will say this: If and when the Suns win a ring, I'll be happy for that city. They aren't my team, and I won't root for them, but part of me will be happy for that city.
Sorry I couldn't respond earlier, but with the convention and only phone-internet, I could barely read these boards, lol.
Last two notes on Phoenix basketball fans:
-they are SO not cocky about facing the Lakers. I had many fun sports talks before the Lakers beat the Suns on Friday, and they didn't have any of the ***hole-ishness that Boston, New York, Chicago, Cleveland and LA fans have. When Ron made that layup, they were mostly just heartbroken. When Kobe hit those shots in Game 6, most of them responded like Gentry. "Ah, that's just Kobe. He's a great player, but I'm proud of our guys. Sad for Stevie" was the general sentiment.
-But I gotta call those Phoenix fans out! There is an alarming strain of bandwagon Laker fans out there that do the unthinkable--they masquerade as Suns fans! I kid you not, some of those dudes took off their Suns jerseys and had Lakers jerseys on under them, and only revealed themselves when the Lakers won. They were like the V, hiding amongst the others.Comment

Yep, I really enjoyed my short time in Phoenix on Tuesday. It's a cool place, some nice people.
Can't stand how many LA fans there are, but thats how it goes I guess.Comment

Re: Western Conference Finals: Phoenix Suns vs. Los Angeles Lakers
There'll never be another player like Michael Jordan, but right now Kobe's the closest thing to him. Who's a better finisher and more clutch than this cat? When it comes to (what Magic calls) "winnin' time", Kobe puts it on HIS shoulders to get it done. That's why he's the best in the game.
How long can he keep doing this? I say three, maybe four more years of great play.Comment
