I play volleyballl and have always wanted a good volleyball game, but I have never found one. I would like to see 6 on 6 volleyball with the abilty to run plays (1 ball, tandom, slide, 2 balls, 5,7,9, front and back) and a backrow attack (A,pipe,D). Maybe the ability to call freeball plays on the fly. I dont know, maybe Im dreaming here but I would love to find a game such as this for PS3 or PC. Maybe some small company somewhere makes one? Another wish on my wish list would be the abilty to vary my serves (float, jump, jump-float, the ability to cut the call).

FIVB Volleyball World Cup : Venus Evolution on PS2 is pretty good. The US version is called Women's Volleyball Championship. It's a pretty solid game. Lots of strategy involved.
There's also a couple good PC volleyball simulation games out there. -

dig and spike volleyball on the snes is probably the best 6 on 6 that i have played, the depth of the game is insane. make sure you play it with a controller that has shoulder buttons.XBOX LIVE: ST6 RawkerComment

I owned one for genesis which can be played on the computer via emulation.
It probably had multiple titles, but may have been called "super volleyball"
I know I played a few years ago via emulation. It's court volleyball international style and I thought it was the best representation of the sport in a videogame for sure.
if you have or are willing to download an emulator (or own a genesis) I'd recommend giving it a shot.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment
