Week 12 Cleveland @ Bristol Bay
Browns Wear Out Vipers Defense
Cleveland Browns wear out The Vipers defense in the second half, putting up 24 points after only managing 3 points in the half, to win 27-21.
The Browns completely outplayed The Vipers even tho the score was so close. The Browns had the ball for over 32 minutes and ran almost double what The Vipers ran. The Browns also ran for more yards (220) than the pass happy Vipers threw for (202).
Going into the 4th quarter The Browns had a small lead 17-14, but thats when the fireworks went off. First Brady Quinn hit Steve Heidan for a 14 yard touchdown pass to extend their lead to 24-14 with just over 8 minutes left.
But thats when The Vipers got things going, Jay Randolph hit Ronyell Patterson on perfect out route in the back of the endzone to cut the lead to 24-21 with just over 3 minutes left.
But in the end, The Vipers defenses was just to wore out to make a stand, letting The Browns 2 headed backfield run off 3 minutes while setting them up for a field goal.
The Vipers got the ball back with just over 15 seconds left, down 27-21 and no timeouts. The Vipers hopes ran out when Jay Randolph hit Travontae Edwards but was stopped before he could get out of bounces and the clock ran out, and killed any comeback attemp.
The Vipers fall to 2-9 and will face The Detroit Lions (3-7-1) who lost to Green Bay 19-6.
