When I play friends / online I usually play within a six point range + / - just to get as fair as a matchup as possible.

I do however think the Ravens and my Broncos are rated a few points to high, other then that it looks to be how I "thought" it would be.

Well broo don't feel bad. I got to work hard with the panthers this year to make them good once again. A 75 overall ain't all that good. So join the party bro.

No way Detroit should be that low. They are going to be much improved this year.

I'm not sure the Bills are the 2nd worse team in the NFL.

I'm not sure the Lions are that bad either. I can easily see them as being one of the top 15 most used teams in Madden this year. Mainly because of all the pieces they have. Great young QB (with a rocket arm), a stud WR, a potneital stud HB, good possession TE, and a stud DT to build your defense around. I'm actually tempted to use them in online franchise in M11. Because theythat would be fun to rebuild as they already have the pieces in place. Upgrade the secondary, and I say that with authority, because that's probably the only thing that keeps people from yusing them is that pathetic secondary. They have a good DL, and an ok LB corps that could use a couple upgrades. Build around Stafford, CJ, Best, Sue, and Dalmas, and you could be making the playoffs and contending for a SB by year 2 of your online franchise or offline.

lol...feel more sorry for yourself, 2 amazing RBs, a fantastic WR, a young rookie QB who no doubtedly will have A potential...decent LBs....your hardly making a good case for the panthers being a bad team [in madden at least]. Bills fans have spiller, evans and Byrd and outside of that nothing really.

                  Almost forgot the NFC North.....

It should be very intersting. The Vikings are probably only going to have a one year window to win the SB, cause Favre always retires after the 1st year, which he has been for the last 3 or 4 Maddens now (lmao). If their user finds a QB in the 1st round they might be set for years to come.

The Packers are already set, with a stud in Aaron Rodgers. Our front 7 is pretty much set, except could use a slight upgrade at MLB and OLB opposite Matthews. Whoever uses them in online franchise my self included should also focus on getting youth in the secondary, building around Nick Collins and Morgan Burnett (assuming he has A potential), as well as getting someone to replace Grant, although he is good in real life he is an average at best Madden HB. The Lions will be a fun rebuilding project, and the Bears need defensive and WR upgrades badly.

WTF? My Redskins rated last in the NFC east with the Eagles losing McNabb and Westbrook!

Hurry up lower courts and side with American Needle so Snyder can negotiate better rating terms before letting the Washington Redskins be in any game! LOL j/k

But thing is the panthers has big questions about their front 4 on the Dline and they only have 1 good Wr right now. The other Wrs in the group is a question mark right now. Our ST sucked last year. Our secondary is also a question now with that trade with the bears to give them back SS Chris Harris for a unknown LB. Panthers have questions on their team right now. So I wouldn't be saying panthers are complete team yet. There is still alot questions to be answered.

If only our defense put up last year....

We'd be in the 88-89+ range.

                            For anyone that missed it:

Be sure and check out tomorrow's (Saturday, June 5) episode of Today On the Spot, where we'll be chatting with EA Sports' ratings guru Donny Moore about the how the Madden team goes about determining team ratings in their game, as well as a breakdown of some of the list's most compelling moving and shakers.
Donny Moore will be on Gamespot's On The Spot show tomorrow! Hopefully we will catch a few gameplay clips.

Ravens are high because off alot of reasons.

                              Best young QB statwise
Fantastic run game with a top 5 back
One of, if not THE Best O-Line in the game/NFL (Oher, Gaither and Grubbs along with Birk and Yanda)
Massively upgraded recieving corp now (WR with the highest CIT rating in the game)
And then you have the defense of course that ranked 3rd in the NFL with 3 of some of the best players at their position in Lewis, Reed and Ngata.

Not to mention Jarrett Johnson and Ellerbe will be rated higher this year, the additions of Cody, Kindle, Redding. Webb will be rated higher as well.
