After many, many years of rooting and playing with the Blackhawks in NHL video games I find it funny that "my team" is actually good for once. I know that when I pick the Blackhawks on NHL 10 for an online game my opponent is probably thinking, "typical, everyone uses them of the Penguins." I wish there was some kind of disclaimer that said, "look, I've used this team since NHLPA 93 on the Sega Genesis." Does anyone else feel this way, I know this is a completely random post but I can't sleep because of game 5.

I don't really care what team my opponent picks, but there are alot of people who pick chicago now because they are good. But if i play someone who picks them i don't assume they're a bandwagon or not because i don't know them, but some people can get frustrated playing same teams all the time because people want the best team possible which is reasonable. -

Yeah, it is hard not to think that a lot of times, but that's their fault not yours. I think that sometimes and when I pick the Blackhawks I imagine that they're thinking that about me. A lot of times I'll use the randomize button to pick a team when I play VS online.
But who cares, it's so much fun to go tearing up the ice withe Kane trying to deke around everybody cause he's so damn quick and speedy.Comment

I am amazed at how people can still play online with all the quitters out there and bandwagon Pens, Hawks and Caps fans out there. Now I know there are some die hard fans out there but its stupid to see all these 3 teams picked like crazy for online games.

Ya the quitting happens way too often for my liking, but what can you do? If someone quits on you, they give you the 3-0 win and its ALWAYS because they are losing. I still enjoy online versus regardless, and usually counter guys that take the Hawks with the Canucks or Sharks. They seem to be a good matchup vs the Hawks.Comment

life long Pens fan here and I'm am amazed (well actually really not surprised) at how many messages i would get after playing and beating someone with the penguins. Then i would offer a rematch when a team of THEIR choice and still win

Long time hawks fan here. I always pick a division rival based on what the other person picks, or just use the random feature... I do find it super annoying playing certain teams all the time. BUT the people that do this are usually bad or glitchers, both easy and satisfying to beat really really badly.

BUT I can relate to you, because when it comes to NCAA FOOTBALL, I only use Ohio State. Been in Columbus all my life and it's funny when people back out of games and talk trash when they are getting their butt kicked.Comment
