I really fail to see how Oakland is just as good as Kansas City.

Chiefs have easily taken a pretty big step forward improving their extremely young team, while Oakland probably got worse lol.

Luckily updated rosters and everything change this as the season goes on.

Wow, looking back on the ratings from Madden 09 really makes me reflect on how we ever managed to get by without stretched ratings. The Browns an 88 overall,? NHL developers take note.

            Roflcopter.
They've added a good QB, had a great draft, and generally got better in allmost every positioon.

I would say the Lions should be in the 70's with their offseason additions, but lets be serious. They are still and will always be the stumbling mumbling bumbling Detroit Lions.

Donny how in the world are you going to give the Baltimore Ravens a 90, but the Colts a 91? Seriously?

Sorry but the Colts are alot better than the Ravens. It's not even a close measure. The Ravens have a defense thats as old as the stone age, a WR core that is mediocre at best, and a QB that still hasn't proved he can focus, maintain, and win games. I wouldn't even call Flacco a leader yet.

The only thing the Ravens have going for them is their RB core. But they get a 90? An 85 would have been generous.

They are averaged out based on player ratings but still with that being said, how are the Colts only 1 point ahead of the Ravens?

I don't see it. I think about who the Ravens have on their team, and then think about the Colts and then I get all confused.

Does EA offer any insight into how they are formulated? Like if the Colts are only 1 pt higher are certain ratings weighted? i.e. defense... w/ more defensive playmakers on BAL maybe the d-players have ratings that are weighted which increase their overall...?

It would be nice if they told us exactly how they calculate these ratings.
