Re: NCAA Football 11 Dynasty Blog 3 of 3 - Recruiting Logic and Extras
I'll definitely be recruiting on Heisman. Not too disappointed about CC because that was really a fan made hype train. If it's announced at E3, great, if not, everything else looks groovy enough to sate me for this year. But I am looking forward to whatever E3 announcements their are and the Teambuilder upgrade as well.I bleed Garnet and Gold. In The 'Slim Reaper' We Trust. Go Noles!Comment

I am just hoping Heisman recruiting difficulty is either not too easy, or it doesn't just blatantly "cheat" against you. If the CPU is a real competitor in recruiting, and the sliders work, offline dynasty will be the most fun it ever has been.Comment

Good news for those who actually manually recruit. I let the CPU handle everything off season. Just something new to read. Not a real letdown, but it didn't excite me either.
I'd have rather viewed some info on the way players progress/regress, and confirmation that the cpu doesn't neglect certain positions, ie no fullbacks etc. I haven't played in a while, but you guys know what I'm talking about. Teams would have 10 QBs and no FBs whatsoever, lol (exaggeration but you get the idea). That type of info would've been much better imo.

Looking really good.
Love the idea of recruiting being tougher, hope teams don't recruit too far off style of play, but am hoping that since they took the time to promote, "120 Ways to Win" that teams will recruit to their play style.
1/2 sacks and 1/2 tackles are a plus, as are the new awards. Also hoping they address the new bowls and some of the issues with team selection in bowl games last year.
All in all...game is shaping up to be very good. A shame it took this long to get to this point, but at least we're finally here.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I'm disappointed in these "dynasty" blogs. They were really just recruiting blogs. There was very little information that pertained to other parts of dynasty mode (new trophies, 1/2 sacks, one week bowl season).
Hopefully they are saving something bigger, like coaching carousel, to be in a blog by itself (or E3).Comment

I guess everyone likes different things, because to me Recruiting is College Football. For me in dynasty it's recruiting, and on the field play. Those are the two main things. Greatly improving recruiting is a HUGE positive for me this year... I'll rather them add great quality features instead of quantity with no quality. With recruiting being improved this year, next year they can focus on coaching carousel and other features.I'm disappointed in these "dynasty" blogs. They were really just recruiting blogs. I havent been this excited for a NCAA Football in years. This new recruiting blogs and style are going to make the game so much better. It will take long than a couple years to build a program up now from scratch with the difficulty on Heisman difficulty.Comment
