The audio guys on Madden prefer to record together when possible. It's generally the schedules of the men involved that make that hard to do. I know they had a dual session scheduled for shortly after CD, so hopefully they got a lot in then.

I know they're gonna wanna showcase their new play-by-play this year, but I hope they added a ton for Collinsworth. It would go a long way to clearing up the repetitiveness of it if both guys got involved. Too many games make you wonder if the color guy took off for a lunch break through most of the game (The Show, for example, has a 3 man booth but you rarely hear anything from Dave Campbell... what's the point of having him?)... and when Collinsworth does speak, it's something you've already heard 50 thousand times.

Collinsworth and Johnson could end up being the best commentary team in the history of sports gaming, but they've gotta have variety, they've gotta talk to each other, and they've gotta share the stage relatively equally to do so.
