Re: Gameplay Project!
I have found that bumping up the QBs focus to a minimum of 90 cuts the ints dramatically. It seems to me like the reason they favor their left is that this is their first read and they fail to properly go through their progressions. So the cpu seems to feel pressure from the DL and still be stuck waiting for the first receiver to get open and it seems to me like that is not only why they favor the left, but why most of the picks come on the left side as well. Boosting the OL gives them more time and bumping their focus seems to get them to run through the progressions a bit faster thus not pushing them to forcing the ball into traffic.
The problem I am running into now is that in doing that alot of them tend to turn into a combination of Peyton Manning and 1987 John Elway. I got torched by the Green Bay team that ships with the game because their QB went off in the second half. I think the score was 13-10 at the half with them only getting around 97 yards passing and about 50 rushing. Well that didn't last long as by the end of the game it had rushed for 65 and thrown for over 455 and 4tds.
It got to a point where the cpu was audibling to a pass play on almost every down and came up with clutch throw after clutch throw. Again this is all by a cpu that pre-edits could barely gain 50 yards on me. Just as an FYI the cpu finished with 3 ints as well, but threw a total of about 35 times.
