Ok, this QB slowing down at the line of scrimmage thing is really starting to get to me. Every time I try to take off now, he slows down as soon as he gets to the line of scrimmage. Am I the only one experiencing this?

Wow this is incredible! Sooo much better then previous versions. Locomotion is sweet. The presentation is amazing. Some of the screens I wasn't sure if they were the game or real footage. Wow! And this is only a freaking demo! Oh my only gripe, no PSU! ;o)NFL - Dallas Cowboys, MLB - NY Yankees
NBA - Knicks, NHL - NY Rangers,
NCAABB - St. Johns Redmen (Redstorm)Comment

The good:
-presentation and atmosphere very immersive
-running game and locomotion feel very realistic
-lame ducks don’t always fall into the lap of a defender
-more swat ball/jar ball loose animations result in less ints and less easy drop animations
-lighting and graphics vastly improved
-maybe its me getting used to the new game, but I don’t know if I ever lost a cpu game on AA…ever. And I just did (against OSU)
-deep pass animations greatly improved. You see the qb getting much more weight behind the ball.
The bad:
-no way to generate 4 man pass rush w/out reblitzing
-hit stick tackles still looks a bit unnatural at times
-play calling screen is tedious
-game “wrap up” was very poor. I hate when Nessler and the PA announcer are announcing the scores together, sounds terrible.
-didn’t see mobile qbs utilizing their speed as much as I would have liked
The ugly:
-getting very fuzzy replays at times may just be demoComment

1. Set your D-line to aggressive and they play fine. Even AI controlled teammates. Haven't seen them flat out beat someone with a speed rush but , I've had 2 coverage sacks so far.A couple of questions
1) How are your AI controlled DL's playing?
Do we still see the patty-cake hand fighting, or are they getting after it in the trenches?
2) Can you user control a DE/DT, and have a effect on the game?
--Can you shed blocks, not be vaccumed into a blocker when you have them beat, and make plays?
3) The yellow zone robber and hook zone defenders
--are they closing aggresively, and covering the underneath slants and drags..or is the slot reciever still open 7/11, forcing us to have to manually play as a yellow zone defender, in order to take this away.
4) AI QB. Robo? Or does he play more like a real QB, reading the field.
2. Kinda like Madden 10. You can be effective but, you do tend to get into the animation where you're engaged and kind of steer out of the block. Came absolutely free on a stunt and sacked Mizzou QB.
3. Jury still out. Crossing routes still look a bit exploitable.
4. Not seeing any Robo QB. People are struggling against Mizzou but, if you call plays properly they can be handled pretty easily. Lots of incompletions. Some miss throws due to pressure, some flat out misses.Comment

Cool little thing I just noticed. Game was tied with about 30 seconds left and I was about to start my drive. They showed the kicker practicing on the sideline and showed his stats for the game. Nice touch!
Now I'm going to OT after a last gasp hail mary was dropped by my WR. UGH!
I'm OSU against the U. Great game going on here

Demo is very enjoyable. The on-field action is great and the animations may be the best ever in a football game. Locomotion looks and fees so smooth.
The "Play of the Day" logic is a bit dumb, it seems to just pick the last play of every game, even if its a squib kick being returned by a TE for 6 yards. Thats probably a demo problem. No worries.
Corso is gone. No complaints, but can't say it was an improvement. I hope someday we'll get two teamed commentary for some diversity.
I loved the gameplay though. Sat and went through each matchup consecutively. I like having the options in the demo, but it would be cooler to have one matchup and 5 minute quarters.
Really enjoyed playing with Florida and Oklahoma. Clemson was fun for a bit too. Missouri's unis in the game are awful. I hate that helmet.
The pass coverage is awesome to watch animation-wise, especially the release at the LOS.

Why is it that Florida is the visiting team but you can't even select their away uniforms? And aren't they supposed to have a white helmet with the PC uni's? Don't beat me, I'm just wondering.
Buckeyes are so beasty. I'll probably just use them for a season or two and then go for a 1- 2 star team for a challenge.Comment
