Re: NCAA Football 11 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here
yeah its definitely not all that 09 "Wide Open Gameplay" BS..where your DTs get chop blocked and flipped no matter what
still I would like the pressure to be a little more nasty.....with sliders that work, Im sure this wouldn't be a problem
And one f the best things,is I haven't had one instance of the CPU running a failed Screen leading to an easy sack
Here We Go Steelers!!! Here We Go!!!
My CFB Teams: Marshall..WVU-Go Herd/Eeers!!!

Re: NCAA Football 11 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here
I just played Miami @ Ohio State. On All-American. I was Miami. I was losing 14-0 late in the 4th. I finally hit a short pass for a long gain and scored. A.I. defense made a bad attempt at a tackle and I broke free for the score, looked great. I then tried the onside kick, camera angle looked cool. Unsuccessful but held them and forced the punt, used up all my time outs. Got the ball back with 1:22 left and had a very nice and exciting drive to tie the game with 10 seconds left 14-14. OS got the ball first in OT and scored a TD. It was 4th and 10 for me when I got my chance and I threw a pick to seal the win for OS. Even though I lost the game , it felt great. Everything that was happening on the field felt very good.
Loved the new controls, they feel pretty natural.
At times the game felt a bit choppy but I'm not concerned about that because it is just a Demo.
Very pleased with what I'm seeing from this Demo, can't wait to try the full game.Comment

I think there's a fine line between defensive frustration of lack of pressure, and realistic frequency of pressure.
QB sacks don't actually happen that often. The best teams might get three or four a game, and that's with 15 minute quarters.
A good team with good pass rushers versus an average to poor line will yield positive results.
It's almost like playing a three inning demo on MLB The Show and saying there aren't enough home runs hit.Comment

We're not cranky....we're just explaining to you that its a DEMO. When I told you "because it's a DEMO" you then decided that that wasn't a good enough answer for you and you questioned it.O RLY?
It's a simple question that doesn't need smart butt reply's. I just asked why they are the away team and yet you couldn't pick their white uni's or white helm. Since it's part of the PC uni's you guy's have been going talking up for months now. I thought it would be in the game or someone might know it wasn't, that was it.
You guys are cranky.
The answer is - Because it's a demo. Plain and Simple. Sorry you made this harder than it was.Comment

Loving everything besides the lack of some sort of Ask Corso.. Thankful he is gone, but really prefer to have plays suggested to keep me honest.
Sideline catches are amazing. I had one pass from Terrelle Pryor caught on the left edge of the endzone where my Devier Posey planted BOTH feet so he could get the TD.
The second great play I saw was when I threw the game winning TD against Florida, hitting my WR in stride in the back of the endzone after he beat the Safety. It looked like he actually looked down to make sure he was in-bounds as he came down with the ball...
Great demo so far.
Also - I felt like CPU pass rush was pretty decent. Maybe I just suck at the game though... lol.Comment

Yes, the demo is from a build that is about a month earlier than the retail version so there will be lots of fixes in the final version that aren't in the demo.Comment

Ask Corso is renamed Ask Coach but it's still in the game. It's the default (and only option) for basic playcalling, and it's one of the three Tab options (LB/RB 360, L1/R1 PS3) in advanced playcalling.Loving everything besides the lack of some sort of Ask Corso.. Thankful he is gone, but really prefer to have plays suggested to keep me honest.
