    UF vs FSU

When 1st popping in this demo, I was amazed by the persentation. Seeing FS running on the field, was amazing, It amped me up. I was excited that they put The Pregame presentation into the game finally. After waiting along time. It reminds me alot of the last gen pregame with a spinkle of ESPN feel.

Gameplay- The 1st you notice in the game the game flows. From the kickoff, I noticed how different it feels running I broke a 72 yard Kick Return and was barly faught by a FSU defender sanging down my back. Also I realize when running with my powerback, It felt alot different then running with my speedback. Also I like how players seem I bit more aware then last year. When a man went in motion everyone bumped down a manno more getting beat in coverage becasue of miscomunications. Also I notice that Locomotion on offense is alot easier to control then on defense. On offense locomotion make running effective and easy to move around with. On defesne you have to get the right postioning, and leverage. There was one play I was on defese and I had a linebacker on there running back, and I got burnt in man coverage for a big gain. I was upset, But was ok with because I had a chance to make the play, but did not make it. I'm ok with that. I also noticed a few thing I did not like in the gameplay. When I roll with my quarterback, He would make an ugly animation were he would jerk forward alittle bit, then roll out. I really did not like that. Also better then in Madden 10, "Pro Tak" still feels like you are glued into the animation. People slide into postions and it looks cluncky, but that liveable. All in All gameplay was very solid

Final though of the demo was 8 football out of 10. Everything was really good just fix the few problems in the game and I this can be on of the strongest years in the NCAA Football Franchsie

Has anyone broken through a pro-tak animation yet? How did it look? I have not broken through a pro-tak animation yet.

What's the biggest gang tackle people have seen? I'm not sure if I've even seen a 3 man gang tackle yet.

I noticed some people talking about the sidelines and all, and how they seemed bland with not really much going on. I've only seen it in the Mizzou/Clemson game, in which I played as Mizzou, but I saw what looked like players in the wind suit style clothing that they wear when on the sidelines due to injury. Or perhaps it was just those students/graduates that are on the sidelines helping out/talking to the players.

They weren't really doing anything when I saw them, it was just a cutscene of the players on the sideline, their backs to the camera, and the ones in the wind suits were clapping as some of the players were high-fiving and such.

I think I've seen 4 players in a tackle animation, 5 including the running back himself..and no I haven't been able to break free from it. Usually a stalemate and the runner gets stopped, or get maybe a yard or two out of it.

I actually had a short yardage situation and had 4-5 of my guys jump in on a tackle to prevent a 1st down.

I usually just play NCAA for the draft classes, but after playing the demo this game has definately become a day 1 buy for me. Locomotion is a welcome improvement this year.

I believe EA Sports release the demo each year with the main objectives of
                      a) Enamoring everyone with new graphics/'glamor' features'
                      b) Using us gamers as guinea pigs to let them know what still needs to be tweaked before final release

Perhaps this is why this demo seems to be 90% offensively based....because that's what initially seems to excite people the most. Everything I've seen and heard was about offense. The user defense on this demo is sorely lacking (tackling, pass defense, swimming/escaping blocks in the trenches).

*However, I must note that this game DOES NOT seem 'Cheeser-friendly'

Having said that, my likes/dislikes are as follows:

                      Likes/Dislikes:
                      • MUCH better graphics and lighting/Still a very poor broadcast (I miss Corso too)
                      • Fans/Stadium/Player entrances are NICE!/Fans in the stands cheering have on the wrong team colors (ex. When playing Mizzou vs. Clemson, the Clemson fans have on Clemson Nike Pro Combat Jerseys in Ohio State colorways...same thing on the other matchups)
                      • Better blocking on both runs and passes/Too hard to get pressure with front 4
                      • Locomotion is cool/Too hard to wrap up and tackle on defense
                      • WRs (with good Acc rating) get off the line quicker on routes/DB a.i. is still unrealistic (they jump too many routes and still run in perfect synch with WRs, step for step and stride for stride
                      • Acceleration aspect is great/Player movement is still unrealistic (looks and feels like I'm gliding on ice)
                      • QBs can no longer shift directions without losing speed when scrambling/when escaping pressure or scrambling, QB all of a sudden loses speed as soon as he crosses the line of scrimmage (wth?)
                      • Less face mask penalties on attempted strips/TOO MANY FUMBLES!
                      • Better animations on WR/DB play/Still poor user catch ability and not enough pass interference calls
                      • Referees visible in the game/Coaches/team sidelines are not
                      • No huddle more realistic for both O and D/Players don't look to sideline for calls from coaches
                      • Uniforms and accessories are great/Still not enough variation on players faces (same faces as last year...10-20 guys on one team have the same exact face...saw this in the Dynasty update blogs on EA Sports website) and where are the dreadlocks/long hair???

By the way...THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA SUCKS for not allowing EA to include the white helmets with their Nike Pro Combat uniforms. No other school had complaints. What makes Florida so much better??? How arrogant.

Anyway, I hope EA can tweak at least some of the above listed concerns by July 13th. But all in all, I'm still pleased in comparison to NCAA10. Remember that last year's demo was much different from the actual release. Therefore, I'm hopeful EA will get it right.

                        Yes.

Jeff Demps is going to be a problem this year.

He breaks out of a pro tak pile, and its over.

Ive done it with him about 3 times in 2 games.

I tried auto sprint...I dont like it.

I dont like anything that takes control of my player out of my hands...I want to be in control of when I burst and when I dont.

Mizzou has been a total pain in the neck to play BTW.
