I can understand why one would be a little salty with two back to back Blackhawks as cover boys for the only hockey game that matters. But with that being said, I personally think (and not just because I'm from the Chi) that more than Kaner did on 10, Toews deserves the nod for 11. He was a beast in the playoffs! 29 over all points...MVP and Stanley Cup Winner in one of the craziest hockey towns in the country?! Not to mention he basically wins every face-off he's involved in....(which is one of the newest improvements to this years game)...... says to me putting him on the cover makes perfect sense. -
What's with this chick? Does she have beer flavored nipples?Comment

I beg to differ. Not being a huge hockey fan myself I can asure you 2 million plus at a parade for a non football, baseball or basketball team is unreal! Does the lou even have 2 million residents, let alone hockey fans. Just kidding bro. But seriously....I agree...Chicagoans are always eger to have a reason to party or celebrate a champion.....hell it had been 49 years for Hawks fans....longest drought in the NHL. Chicago fans go hard bro!
The Cubs fans can attest to the fact of how hard it is to be the team thats gone the longest without winning a championship. Now thats a party everybody would want to be at!Comment

If this is true, I will be extremely upset. Two Blackhawks in a row is a joke. There is 29 other teams out there going back to back with the Blackhawks is upsetting. I'm a Flyers fan, I don't hate the Blackhawks. I would say Ryan Miller deserved this more then anybody a close second should of been Drew Doughty. I hope this isn't true.Comment

Re: NHL 11 Cover Athlete: Jonathan Toews
They should have used Crosby or Miller this year to cash in on the Olympics. Or better yet use Miller in the US and Crosby in Canada. For all the new improvements that are big parts of Toews game are also big parts of Crosbys: faceoffs and dekes. Miller because of his awesome play for USA and because they haven't had a goalie for a long time.Comment

I love Pronger!
He may be an ******* on the ice, but i just can't hate him.
I wish the Blues had him.
I picked him up in Be a GM, he crushes anyone that tries taking the easy way into my zone.Comment

If the Blues win a cup, i will drive the two hours to St. Louis to join in on that.I beg to differ. Re: NHL 11 Cover Athlete: Jonathan Toews
There hasn't been any confirmation from EA Sports so nothing is set in stone just yet. They could've just put that to celebrate the Hawks Stanley Cup win. I for one watched Leno, and there was a drunk Kane, a shy Seabrook, a toothless Keith and a uptight toews that were being made fun of by Jay...Interesting to see when EA officially comes out. If im wrong, please post a link showing box art or something...Comment

Re: NHL 11 Cover Athlete: Jonathan Toews
Can we please get an NHL game where a Blackhawk is NOT on the cover for once? Marion Gaborik, or Henrik Lundqvist perhaps? I'm getting sick of seeing Chicago players get recognition, for anything except throwing 26 INT's in a season, that I can live with.Comment

Re: NHL 11 Cover Athlete: Jonathan Toews
At first, I was a little confused by the choice. Then when i thought about it, removing his team affiliation, it made a lot of sense. Just look at his year... Won gold on Team Canada at the Olympics, named Best Forward at the Olympics, Won the Cup, named the Conn Smythe Trophy winner... Hawk or not, that is one heck of a year.
Oh, we will. This is America! And in America, if something sucks, you're supposed to be able to get your money back! Come on, Kenny!Comment

There were a estimated 3.4 Million fans at the Cards World Series parade in 2006.I beg to differ. We love our Blues just as much, and when they win that first cup there will be atleast that 3 mil the Cards had, no less.
Blues have never won a cup and boy when this happens, crazyness...What's with this chick? Does she have beer flavored nipples?Comment
