well I just had the ball at my own 20 with 30 seconds left in a tie game so I ran 4 streaks and the AI called an 8 man blitz twice in a row. I had two 40 yd completions for the winning td. The AI defensive playcalling is a little ridiculous in that regard.

That was/is a huge gripe for the guys in our OD. The sellout blitzes the CPU did last year was idiotic. They sent their CBs on blitzes all the time.

Not a huge fan of locomotion because I still think there are inconsistencies in it but overall it's a step in the right direction. I didn't expect them to nail it the 1st time around. I'd like to see the physics get a huge upgrade in the form of the 2nd defender in on the tackle. Kickoffs/Punt Returns are notorious for showing the 2nd defender bounce off the ball carrier as he is getting tackled.

Well since the MODS do not think that this is a big deal

OK last year this was an issue and it STILL is in the game but last year this was in MADDEN! So I decided to see if this was still in the game engine seeing as how this is the same one from Madden....and sadly yes it is.

The way it works is when the ball is snapped you hold DOWN on the right thumbstick and your linemen will engage with the OL and then kinda go under the OL's arm and break free. With a IMPACT DL this works 99% of the time (I am on HEISMAN) with non impact it still works close to 80% of the time.

THIS needs to be fixed ASAP!

If you use Clemson use the LE and you'll see what I mean

The Engage Eight and Double CB Blitz need to be removed from the Madden/NCAA series.

NFL teams blitz 8 about 0.5% of the time and the Double CB Blitz is about just as rare. They are called WAY too often in both games.

the deep ball is way 2 easy

I'll probably just correct that problem by boosting up Pass Coverage to MAX 100 and lowering the WR Catch slider down a few clicks

It solved the same problem last year for me

The only way to stop it is to lower their Defensive Aggresivness slider under coaching options

In fact the CPU in general does things much better if you edit their coaching sliders

Man I dont know about you guys but Im loving the demo, sure it has some negatives but every game has negatives about it, loving the Locomotion , deep balls too me arent as easy as they used to be which is awesome, also there not always accurate either, LOVING THIS GAMECant wait for july 13th

It seems like my fast players are skating on ice about 2 inches above the field.

Overall it feels like NFL 2k5 in terms of physics.

Here's the problem - you don't think the cheesers in madden who used it won't try it out here? I am trying to help get it fixed - some of you need to stop trying to sweep it under the rug

Personally the demo didn't do a whole lot for me. To me, it doesn't seem to be that big of a difference. As for presentation, I think crowd looks horrible when the game is going is happening on the field. I played Clemson vs Mizzou and all the Clemson fans look naked from a distance. Sure they look cool when the camera cuts to a closeup, but when you're on the field they look terrible.

Also, I thought the kicking game was getting a makeover? It seems exactly the same to me.

With Clemson's LE I got constant pressure on the QB with only 1 sack. Not bad, but I got burnt on the deep ball since the CB would jump the wrong way when I took control of him. The running game was great for me, but the CPU couldn't run a bit against me.

Again, to me, there's not a whole lot of difference. Sure a receiver comes out of breaks differently, but he was still wide open every time I threw to them. Not impressed.

Well I guess it doesn't matter to me because I play offline. I avoid online games because of the glitch you mentioned and various others.

It's been stated in this thread that due to demo limitations the play of the game will always be the final play. The retail game has no such limitation.

In my Clemson/Mizzou game the POTG was a TD pass on Mizzou's first drive of the game. Mizzou lost.

I agree. I really feel a heavy slider adjusted varsity/AA level will be fantastic on this game.
