No, serious as a heart attack. Some of you people will never be pleased, i personally love what I am seeing. It looks to play just like NCAA 11 demo, and if this is true, I am one happy camper. NCAA 11 plays great this year, I think EA has done a fine job. I don't have high expectations. If I did, then I'd be sorely disappointed and never appreciate anything I get.

I didn't expect to wake up this morning. However, now that I did, I'm really excited about going to work today!

They really need to stop taking a cookie cutter approach to defense also. At no time do I ever think it's the Ravens defense out there. Nothing to fear, no real reason to gameplan against a defense, not much to worry about in terms of mismatches/accounting for certain players. Same as it has been with Madden for years, the defense seems more like a prop

yep...that's exactly why the game isn't fun. Can't play D...or more specifically, your input on Defense is irrelevant, either you call a play that covers all the WR's or stuffs the run or the other team rips off a gain (Tecmo Bowl esk). Robo QB's with amazingly accurate laser passes that are indefensible with the simple tap of a face button that really requires no skill what so ever.

I remember a time not so long ago there seemed to be a grace period of sorts that most people were very upbeat about the game. Seems as though that grace period is gone. Along with many gamers patients.

if you can't see it during the regular gameplay....watch at :43 of the video and just look at Vince moving around, compared to his surroundings.... its like the player models are running around on a different sized playing field or something.....it doesn't match up, they are out of place.

The only impressive thing about that video what the the WR jumping to catch the ball (its about time!) So far im not hyped about this game, but if it plays any thing like Ncaa 11 then that is good, ill wait till the demo comes out to decide if I am going to buy or not, cause right now, im leaning toward not buying.

Oh trust me 2K is day and nite compared to Madden. Just don't think Madden looks that bad. What choice do we have being die hard football fans? I just think people that are always negative about a game and don't see any positives, doesn't help anyone. Madden dev. team is more and more listening to the gaming community. Hell on next gen. I thought Madden would be like when they first released those vids of McNabb and the Eagles against the Giants. But I do see improvements in the EA games, like Madden and NCAA11. I am just not as picky. Maybe cause I am 39 years old and remember the days of Pac-man and Centipede. The games made now a days are amazing.

Oh trust me 2K is day and nite compared to Madden. Just don't think Madden looks that bad. What choice do we have being die hard football fans? I just think people that are always negative about a game and don't see any positives, doesn't help anyone. Madden dev. team is more and more listening to the gaming community. Hell on next gen. When a company is spending more time figuring out what to charge me for next rather than making their product at least as good as a competing product years ago, I take issue. Especially when I don't have a choice.

It's not about being negative, it's about realizing that if you send the message that it's acceptable, it will be all you get. The message needs to be loud and clear that the quality is not acceptable so that it pushes them to up the ante. I'm not going to get on people for buying the game, people do what they want with their money, but know that everytime you buy it and settle, you are just contributing to the sub-par, crap quality we have now come to expect from our only NFL football title.

may be im mistaken, but during the ray lewis team "chant" i thought i heard drew brees 1, 2, 3 chant.. that is downright disrespectful!! ray lewis is the what time is it! game time! fire up the team, if they overlay drew brees fire up team chant on all teams.. thats jess plain lazy!! come on EA fix by final release.. if im wrong.. then i will STFU! lol!

I heard the same thing, I thought no one else noticed. I definitely didn't hear the "what time is it" chant and it sounded a lot like the Saints one.

Does anyone else think the Ray Lewis intro dance is way to Robotic??

I know his cousin mo-cap that, but man does it look Horrible compared to the real thing.
Ray's is more of a punch or thrust movement, the Madden version is more Pop n' lock. :P
