Madden NFL 11 Demo to Feature 5 Minute Quarters

It will be 5 min quarters. Most would call that a "full game" compared to the 2 min quarters of NCAA 11 demo. This is great news though, that they have confidence in there product, and not having 1 min demos, where it is harder to pick out the flaws.

Lets just hope they don't charge us for the demo! Remember EA was throwing out the possibility of charging for demos just a few months back.

they aren't allowed to charge for demos, microsoft and sony won't allow that

This makes sense, really the only way to go if you want to show off, which I'm taking as a good sign. You just can't really get deep enough into the running game with two minute quarters which seems to be the centerpiece of the Madden 11 upgrades.

Fairly certain you can hit X on every play and get out of it, so I would *think* the answer is 'no'.

Really ODogg? Did you read that in an article somewhere? If so that's awesome. Can you post a link so I can read up on it? I'm all for episodic gaming (actually enjoy the approach of stead, quality release points of a game), but that doesn't exactly fit well with sports based games.

I thought of that however I suppose I am going with the "wouldnt put it past them" catagory for it and make you use it for the demo.

I'm glad the demo will be 5 minute quarters. So hard to get a feel it 2 minute quarters.
